I came home from work, and it was sweltering outside. Instead of changing into a bathing suit, I grabbed a pool floaty and climbed on--still in my baggy jeans, cotton blouse, white socks, and sneakers. I let myself slowly sink into the water, watching as my clothes drank it all in. My jeans grew dark and heavy, clinging to my legs and shaping every curve, while my blouse stuck to my skin in soft, wet folds.

After a few minutes, I slid off the floaty and waded through the shallow end. My jeans were completely soaked now, shiny and tight in some places, moving with me with every step. I could feel the wet fabric pressing against me, and the squish of my socks inside my sneakers made me laugh. The way the denim hugged my hips and thighs--it felt so playful and teasing.

I climbed out onto the patio, dripping from head to toe. Water trailed from my sleeves and jeans, soaking the ground beneath me. The denim clung to me, emphasizing every curve, and the dripping fabric made me feel daring and free. I played with the water, splashing, twisting, and enjoying the sensation of wet clothes on every inch of me, loving how the pool highlighted my soaked jeans and squishy socks at every angle.

By the end, I was laughing, dripping, and completely lost in the playful, indulgent freedom of being fully-clothed in the water. Every step, every pose, every squish reminded me how much I loved this--just me, my clothes, and the pool.
