I've done similar in tidal mudpits at low tide. Lying down half submerged feels like being in zero-gravity as the mud is denser than the body/person specific gravity/ratio, you literally float in the mud with little effort if it's dense enough. The sensation on bare skin is unequaled. Feels like a thousand fingers massaging you !!
Must feel awesome walking in that mud enveloping bare feet and legs!
