Made a big impression on me when I was about 9.

Is there actually a pit with real mud in it?

Real, real mud, too

I purchased, and I almost never purchase as there's a curious lack of cash around, but this one I had to have. Just for texture alone, the price is met, plus your emotional reaction to being covered in nature's conkreet (spelling it this way will get it posted). Let's live forever and wallow even longer. Thanks Jayce.

All the stuff I had to make up in my head when I was 12 ~ is now presented to me here, almost daily.

People wanted to see Goldfinger in 1964 just to see Shirley Eaton painted in gold. I mean, can you imagine? This is inspired.

Wow... what sources you have. I saw this (as a near 11-year-old) in an AP wire story with another remarkable picture featuring a headstand in the mud pond. She's in Australia.

Still is the truly natural WAM girl. I've been a customer in the past, and I find myself coming back to her scenes.

Is she taking a selfie? Like a good journalist she's got the subject totally covered.

Brings back memories of reading descriptions of these things, about 20 years ago.

It took a bit of searching, but I found its origin at http://500px.com/VincenzoRecchia. Recchia is a master studio photographer. There is another in this gold series worth seeing. I like to credit where possible.

Shot by the great Annie Leibovitz. Appeared in LIFE Magazine in 1983... a real stunner

Who is this maiden, Brandi, I've often wondered.

The feature appeared in February 1973, but who knows when the pictures were taken ?
