Hah! The overloading my backup storage space was happening too, but this was more about the sun doing crazy things with the camera's perception of the scene! :D
OhMyGoddess I do try to be careful about that! Another reason to bring others along with me!
Love you, too

I am, 100%! I kinda always thought I really wanted to go back home to New England... but a few weeks back I realized I really love my river here, even more than some of my past rivers in this state and back where I'm from.
Love you, too

The wet spot up close to the right? That looked innocent and dry, and was the wettest, deepest quicksandy quicksand in this section.
My guess? The stream centered here when it flowed, and carved away the softer ground, which later settled with the silty sandy quick stuff. But just a guess.

I kinda always thought I really wanted to get back home to New England... but I realized recently I really do love my river here. I loved my other rivers too, but this one... maybe a bit more?
I almost didn't post these, because ludicrously smol set, but rslop2 wanted me to tease you all... and then, boom! Bigger set, coming soon to the Muddy River album! First 20 pics on the way!
