Well, where do you start???? I can honestly say this was an AMAMZING weekend in sunny Weston Super Mare. I travelled down from not so sunny Cheshire with my partner, Malcolm who, tbh isn't really a hardened splosher like myself. However, he throws himself into the fun, albeit a little more reserved than me lol!

The 'nilla meet on Saturday was a lot of fun - meeting so many old and new friends, swapping travel tales, sploshing stories and generally chewing the fat over far too much alcohol - *hic*. Then followed a HUGE meal at an excellent smokehouse - so much meat it gave me the sweats lol! Again, lots of chat - what was going to happen tomorrow??? Whaat would it be like??? What to wear???!!!

Sunday came with a bit of a headache but no fear!!! This was the big one, the shakedown, the payoff*...splosh nirvana, wam heaven - whatever you wanna call it, this was gonna be BIG!!! Security and organisation of bag storage etc was second to none, everything had been thought of down to the nth detail - kudos to the security agency and the lads bagging up our stuff

Everything kicked off with hello's from Leon & Lisa, ground rules, H&S etc, then the fun started with the MostWam team playing games from JustDunked, JustPied and JustGunged, mud wrestling with Ari & Miss KO, ref'd by the lovely Penny Banks- loads of fun with daft quizzes (who knew Lisa's background, eh???). This was followed by the divine Gingerduberdee going in the gunge tank, turning her lovely pink dress into green & yellow, with a little help on the gunge blaster from Drax!!!

Then it was our turn - guests we invited to "have a go" at their chosen method of mess - someone nominated me to be pied by Ginger (thanks, love!!). By this time the mess was in full flow - the queue for the gunge tank waas by far the biggest attraction, I think, followed by the mud wrestling (well, who wouldn't want a wrestle with Ari???) I chose the pink gunge bath, having seen Candy fully submerge in the pink lovelyness. I just had to be PINK!!!
One of the participants had it in for me (sorry, I cannot remember your name). At every opportunity he would get some gunge and splat it on my head, so of course, I had to recipricate This resulted in an ongoing tit-for-tat gunge war.....he even nicked the gunge blaster to get me, but Al soon put a stop to that, haha!
After a couple of hours of trying out everything, we then had a messy/foamy disco - kicked off by that perenial Dick & Dom favourite "The Ace of Spades" (thanks, Iain!). The MostWam girls were chucking gunge into the audience & it all went a bit mental....Then the foam started...OMG!!! I've never been to a foam party before, but I bloody loved being immersed in bubbles! It was like being inside a washing machine I honestly cannot remember being so happy and laughing so much...

After all the excitement (I thought) we joined the queue for the showers.....but then the klaxon went off.......the opening bars of "Good Guys" from Bugsy Malone came on to the speakers....I had to go back & join in again. Leon thrust the bloody mike under my nose & I promptly forgot the words PMSL!!!! That was my day complete - you can't beat a tune from Bugsy!!!!

Many, many thanks to Leon, Lisa and all the MostWam team, helpers, organisers and cleaner uppers....it was a most EPIC day.....
