Getting Even, Part I

Erin was still fuming when she arrived a Glen Larsen's home Saturday for the shoot. This was a "promotional scene" of sorts. The stars: Erin Grey; Gil Gerard; Pamela Hensley; would greet the sponsors. Then they would film a casual episode ending scene in a small studio next to Glen's home with their key sponsors on set. This is how Larsen planned to leverage the network into buying another season letting the sponsors experience the production and making them twist the network's arm.

...Earlier in the week Erin had filmed the now infamous flight suit wetlook scene. She was escaping Princess Ardala Warship, where she was prisoner, by swimming through the ship's internal aquifer to the fight deck. Then she would escape in her fighter jet. Her stunt double did most of the underwater action shots off studio in a pool and in an aquarium. She of course wore the same shiny red flight suit and leather ankle boots. It was an entire day of swimming fully clothed.

The highlight was an escape scene where Erin's character Colonel Wilma Deering was wrestling with Princess Ardala, also a stunt double. Deering was able to shove Ardala backward, dunking her into an agro farming water tank filled with fish. Ardala screamed and thrashed about in her blue leather pantsuit. Climbing up the ladder, the leather suit shimmered as the water streamed out of the seams and seized around her body, with tiny creases in the leather pants below the knees.

Now standing on the deck, Ardala was soggy and dripping when she drew her gun, but Colonel Dering was long gone. During the Princess's wet & wild leather swim with the fish, Deering began her escape through the aquifer to her fighter jet

Back on the studio set, the stars would take over. The set crew had built a platform around a 55-gallon barrel to show the end of the aquifer piping. Wilma Deering would climb out of the water filled drum, and scamper over to her fighter jet.

If ever there was a time for a one shot take, this was it, thought Grey. The water filled the night before was studio temperature, 68. She needed to jump in the cold water and go under, since her character was swimming underwater.

Submerged, the water enveloped the red flight suit, hugging her body like a passionate lover in all the right places at once. The flight suit was synthetic and water resistant for a moment. Then the water began to leak in around her hands, neck, and ankles. While cold drops trickled down her back and chest, she felt her nipples pushing out against the water pressure on her breasts. Then flight suit leaked through all over, growing heavy. Her ankle boots were now filled with water and the suit became saturated.

She burst through the surface of the water with a gasp. This was in the script, since her character had held her breath during the long swim through the piping. In fact, it was the cold water which made her gasp. She climbed out of the barrel as scripted, rested for a few seconds then made her way to the fighter jet. The suit so much heavier wet than dry. A fast walk was all she could muster without falling. Plus water was dripping everywhere making it slippery for her leather boots. But she made it. One shot done.

"We need to shoot that again" called the director. "You need to run Erin, not strut!"

Grey was exasperated. "That was a good shot. If I run, I am going to look ridiculous with water flying everywhere. And I am going to fall. These leather soles have zero traction now that they are wet."

"Ok, I get it, Erin. Can you give us a light jog with sense of urgency this time" her Director asked?

Reluctantly, she walked back to the top of the platform with the water barrel. "Can I start from here?" She called back.

"Yes, but dunk in the tank again. Neither of us want to be back here in two days. Glenn Larsen wants Wilma Deering wet from the swim, running across the fight deck. So that is what we need to shoot."

The water felt like it got colder in the 20 minutes it took to dry the stage and set up again. Climbing out, her breasts were bulging beneath her outfit, with the nipples jutting out through the wet fabric. She was feeling a little aroused and would have massaged her boobs sensuously, but there were over 2 dozen sets of eyeballs on her and quit a few tongues already hanging out of their mouths. She thought about showering in that flight suit alone or with one of her girlfriends. This one was now ruined, so she would wait for the replacements and swipe a new one she could use in her own private session.

Grey was right about running. Water was flying off her knees, her boots, her elbows, and yes her boobs. Her hair was plastered across her face. She looked ridiculous. The editing crew would certainly enjoy splicing the two shots into a final scene for TV.

The final copy was perfect and downright racy for 1970s TV. But the shiny red suit was a little too captivating for the film crew to bear. It left NOTHING to the imagination including her breasts, her nibbles, and her world-famous butt.

There were comments made only partially audible "headlight are on" etc. It was very embarrassing to say the least. But then Gil Gerard took it to a whole new level. Following the last shot, he let out a crystal-clear wolf whistle as Erin walked off set for a towel. After that came all the hooting, clapping, comments, more whistles.

Erin was furious. She was a professional actress filming a scene, not a pole dancer. She wanted to quit on the spot, but her lucrative contract was not something she was going to give up regardless of the hound dogs she now had to endure at work.

Gerard was the central character of the show and single-handedly brought in the female half of the audience. So there was no point going to the director or the producer. But if the opportunity presented itself, Erin would get even. Gerard may be a star, but he was not the brightest and like a lot of men in Hollywood he thinks with his dick....

...Needless to say, the Larsen Estate was stunning. And the centerpiece of the landscaping was a breathtaking oversized pool, complete with a driving board and hot tub off to the side. While the rest of the guests were oohing and aahing about the grounds, Erin Grey's mind was going a mile a minute. She was hyper focused on one thing. Getting even with Gil Gerard for the way he embarrassed her on the set this past week.
