The rain fell for a short while today. I got excited at the idea of playing in mud. After work I put on my rain boots but the rain stopped. It didn't rain enough for lots of mud. I still wanted to play so I walked along the river. I jumped into a stream and walked down it. The stream was very long but shallow. The stream ended at a park with a pond and stream in it. I decided to play in the pond. I didn't expect the pond to be so deep and I sunk up to my waist ! I got out and went to the stream the the park. I jumped in to the steam and fell down into the mud ! My dress got muddy. Is was so excited yet upset at the same time. I got up and walked back to the pond. I washed the mud off. I send back to the stream and jumped in some more bi picked up the mud from the bottom of the steam. It was so cold and slimy. It was repulsive but I loved it. I was so close to rubbing the mud in my dress. I decided not to and washed off again in the pond. I had so much fun. After a long day of work and being very mature, it was so much fun to get dirty. I hope to return to that steam and pond again soon and get very muddy.
