Wealthy + Arrogant = Chocolate FountainStory by SethJambaPosted 4/6/21 530 views
Samuel walked into his rich girlfriend's party with a dash of arrogance. He was also from a rich background and had been dating her for years now. Samuel loved to flaunt the fact he is rich and dating rich. He could never get enough attention to fit his ego.
Samuel or "Sam" is a young adult with black hair and amber eyes. His rich heritage was the vain of anyone who was not the same. With this, he often looked down on the middle and lower classes. Samuel always told himself not bring himself down like this. The idea of him interacting with those people just disgusted him. But anyways, he was at his girlfriend's party, which was composed of many high class people. Knowing he had to dress to impress, he had on a classic black tuxedo jacket with a white tuxedo shirt, black bow tie, cuff links, slacks, and shiny patent leather shoes. He had went sock-less for some reason though.
His girlfriend had some middle class friends, so Sam ignored them and mingled with the higher ups rather than the lower class. But due to the fact he wanted to boast that he was dating the birthday woman, he went to see her as she descended from the staircase.
But little did he know, his girlfriend was sort of fed up with his attitude.
Approaching his girlfriend, Olivia, Sam was just downright arrogant. Olivia, a Hispanic woman with black hair and hazel eyes, had on a pink dress and glittery accessories which were a tiara, bracelet, necklace, and her high heels. Unlike Sam, Olivia was not arrogant in any way. She was polite and had manners, the latter like Sam but didn't annoy people with the constant mention of his heritage. Olivia, in all honestly, could not stay her "boyfriend." It was merely a one-sided relationship.
She had her eyes on someone else though, but she still had to make it look like she too was in love. No matter how much she loathed it.
Samuel approached his girlfriend, who had put on her facade with a smile.
"Wow. You look radiant," Sam complimented before following up with "not as radiant as me though. No, I shine like the stars."
Olivia could only stick a smile on her face in front of the conceited man.
"Why thank you, and you do not look to bad yourself," she carefully said.
"Of course, I just said I-"
"I heard you," Olivia hastily said before she started to look around for the actual man she loved.
Samuel briefly kissed his "girlfriend's" hand before noticed her head movement. Which was odd to the arrogant boyfriend.
"Um? Hello, your boyfriend is right here. Unless your looking for your grou-"
"Oh, I'm not looking for them. I was wondering if Tom was here."
Samuel cocked an eyebrow at this. "Why would you want to see if he is here?"
"Because I... invited him."
Samuel just scoffed and rolled his eyes. He knew all about Tom, that middle class man. Heck Olivia couldn't stop talking about him from time to time. It annoyed him, why would she be looking for him?
"Darling, perhaps you focus less on him, and all on me," Sam said with a seductive look on his face.
Olivia recoiled in disgust. This look just made her uncomfortable and she had seen it so many times. It was one of her many reasons she could not stand the man. Well, time to peel the band aid.
"Sam, listen to me," Olivia said in a straight forward tone while Sam was busy not paying attention. "I think it's time you found someone else for you," she said.
"Oh please, no one will ever be good enough for me, other than you of course," he replied with a wink.
"That's not what I mean."
"Well, who will dance with you if your not in my arms?"
"Sam..."
"I'm serious, our parents set this up since we were sixteen."
Sam..."
"Then again, that dress totally does not match with my tuxedo."
"Samuel, this is serious I'm breaking up with you."
And that made Samuel take a step back. "What do you mean your breaking up with me?! That's outrageous!"
"Samuel, I have never been into you. You are so conceited, self centered, and arrogant in the most disgusting manner. I mean, you don't even try to mingle with the middle class!"
"I will not be chitter with people that are below people like us!"
Olivia muttered something, before replying with, "Well I think I found a perfect candidate for your next love interest."
"And that would be...?"
"Yourself!" Olivia said as she gave him a silver platter that was conveniently placed there before walking away in a hastily fashion.
Samuel stood there gobsmacked as his now ex left him...
Before seeing how good he look and gushed over himself.
He snapped back to his senses after a while. Scanning the room, he saw his ex now talking to that blonde hair middle class. Sam, fueled with either jealously or anger, made a beeline for the middle class with a roar. Luckily Tom had enough time to dodge it. Samuel though tackling something alright...
The chocolate fountain.
Colliding with the contraption, the arrogant man slipped and fell to his back, taking the chocolate fountain with him. Of course the collision had got his tuxedo all gooey and chocolatey now. His handsome face had been splashed onto it, his black hair now with brown "hair dye." The chocolate had splattered against his exquisite black tuxedo jacket, white tuxedo shirt, and black bow tie that both stained the clothes and irritated him. His slacks had a few stains themselves, and the dessert had plastered itself onto his shiny black dress shoes.
Sam climbed to his front side and was absolutely appalled by his results of justice. His chocolate centric puddle made his tuxedo more drenched and annoyed. Ignoring the quizzical looks and snickering from other, he climbed to his feet, only to slip again. After a few seconds of struggling, Samuel got this his feet, and straighten his chocolate covered tuxedo to the best of his ability.
He decided to take his leave after the scene he created and to make himself look less foolish. He also came to the terms Olivia had broken up with him and wanted that lower class instead. 'Oh well, her loss,' he said in his thought, 'there are other girls who would be all over me right now.'
The rich male had failed to take in the account that he was recorded and blowing up on social media now. So, who would go out with him now?
