It was the summer of 1988, and the amusement park was buzzing with excitement. The newest addition to the park, Racing Rivers, had just opened its doors to the public. The water ride featured two water slides, Pharaoh's Falls and The Watersnake, that sent guests hurtling down at a steep angle from a height of 30 feet.

Julia and her family were visiting the park that day, and they couldn't wait to try out the new ride. They had heard great things about Racing Rivers from friends who had visited the park earlier in the week.

As they walked up to the ride, Julia could see the two slides towering above her. Pharaoh's Falls was a bright blue, with twists and turns that seemed to go on forever. The Watersnake was a deep green, with sharp turns that looked like it would be an intense ride.

Julia was short, light skinned, pretty and beautiful. She was wearing a white ribbed crop top, light blue daisy duke jean shorts, white slouch socks and a pair of white canvas Keds tennis shoes.

Julia and her family decided to ride Pharaoh's Falls first. They climbed the stairs to the top of the slide, and Julia couldn't help but feel a little nervous. But as soon as she sat down on the plastic sled and pushed off, all of her nerves disappeared. The wind whipped through her hair as she zoomed down the slide, taking tight turns and feeling the cool water splash against her skin.

Next, they rode The Watersnake. It was even more thrilling than the first slide, with sharper turns that made Julia hold on tight. The ride ended with a big splash, and they all came out soaking wet from head to toe but laughing and having a great time.

They rode Racing Rivers multiple times that day, each time feeling the adrenaline rush. As the day came to an end, Julia and her family reluctantly left the park, already planning their next visit to experience Racing Rivers once again.

But little did they know that Racing Rivers would close its doors twelve years later, to make way for new and exciting rides. Despite the disappointment, the memories of the joy and thrill of Racing Rivers would always be cherished by Julia and her family.
