Meeting other wammers is something that has gotten me less introverted and more social weird to think it's easier to trust people who don't have to hide a part of themselves that bond you to your body and bond their body to their own.

But talking about wam is different than typing about wam witnessed performers as people and people as performers. Everything sometimes can be too much and at times too little but maybe just enough is all you really needed. I try not to talk much about myself because everyone else is more interested to me and that's where I get to see myself in the actions of others and my own overlap. But this whole event and gathering was so new yet so much. I tend to do wam things in solitude and being social about it immediately took me out of being an introvert.

Meeting @ckwam for example was really cool because everything I asked him about online we were able to speak about in person. Like set up and using a chocolate fountain people would have to walk under to meet somewhere which is still an ideal I think would be cool. Also a wam elevator where to get to a wam gathering by pushing the 11 button gunge would fall from the ceiling and everyone who is messy would be ready to enter some sort of festivity.

But even @fruitkitty getting everyone to experience a homemade contraction that so many people were happy about was really cool to witness. The food that @messmaster shared wile trading stories on technological issues with helping out umd was rather humbling to hear the amount of work that goes into coding the umd.net site and my constant nagging over umd t-shirts to help start conversations on wam which actually I saw happen with messmaster and a women by the pool.

I got to jump in a pool with some clothes on but the way it happened was just so freaking cool. So much happened like learning the history and context of tv and slime and gunge from @whatamess or the backstories about how so many people came to mess or even umd itself. Having @messmistress explain and listen to things I've been pondering about.

To me this experience really got to appreciate how fragile and anti fragile wam can be. @larzstord and gunge and trying to make jokes with her while being blamed for none of them apparently being any good. Still think some were funny just the delivery being a bit off. But also seening blue and green up close speaking with Penelope about the weather.

I'm probably messing many moments in my memory bank right now but the overall experience was rather amazing like letting everyone out of the stairs on the 5 floor thinking just one person got stuck. I'm going to be flying back soon and wanted to journal a bit so that I don't forget how precious these memories are to me. No matter how overwhelming life gets wam has gotten me through friends dying or committing suicide. More but I think sharing any more of that past trauma would take away the real human connections I got and being in person but not over a buffer while talking about things that really fascinate me. Meeting @clixmessyhot for example. Talking about tattoos video games and the scents around the world. Like fruit loops for example.

I'm going to mess a lot of folks and some of their user names I forget with the in person names and in person names with their user names.

But before I leave to head out into the world again I just wanted to show how grateful I am to have been able to experience being alive with everyone over the weekend.
