The Messy University Vote part 1

It was a special time at Dale University, as the spirit of democracy was in full swing for the annual class elections. This year was a bit different, however, as the two candidates for student body President seemed to be unable to keep their campaigns civil.

Enter the fist candidate for class President, Rose. Rose was well known figure at Dale, she was captain of the field hockey team, and certainly on the more popular side of the social spectrum. She was a dual threat, a great player for the university field hockey team, and quite sociable and well spoke also.

She was also gorgeous. Sporting a head of shoulder length red hair similar to Emma Stone and an athletic body perfect for field hockey with a fit frame as well as big breasts and very firm bum.

She was the opposite of her opponent in this election.

Enter Anna, a bubbly, energetic with fire red hair that went down to her mid back. She had no athletic prowess to speak off, but she was certainly the better read of the two candidates.

Rather than being on any athletic team, she spent her after school hours as head of the Dale University environmental club. Where she and other bookish students tossed around ideas to limit waste, and make the planet a greener place, avery uphill battle indeed.

Although not as curvy as her opponent, Anna sported a beautiful face, and she was clearly in shape, being a vegetarian helped, it also helped that her legs seemed to go on for miles.

Back to the election, the biggest issue plaguing the university this year was a buildup of waste in the cafeteria. It seemed that the quality of food was low, nobody could ever finish their lunch, it being more of a commuter school, many students were forced to take whatever the school offered, but most could only eat half of any given meal.

The results of the buildup were ghastly, garbage cans overflowing with canteen leftovers. Mushy vegetables, lumpy custard, curdled rice pudding, mashed potatoes, various condiments, old spaghetti, all topped off with the standard milks that students only ever half drank.

The cafeteria stunk to high heaven daily, and the student body was looking to one of the two stunning redheads for answers.

Rose's solution was simple enough, simply invest in more garbage cans. If there were more places to put the wasted food, there would be no overflow, so no stench. Also, perhaps the cooks could update some recipes, so students can actually finish whatever meal they purchase.

Anna, full of energy, pitched her plan. Instead of just making more room for waste, why not put said waste to use? Her plan is to have the University use the leftover slop for compost. There would be no stench in the cafeteria, since all the mess would be outdoors helping a beautiful garden grow! This made the fellow class environmentalists beam with pride.

The bad blood between the two candidates came to a head in the very first debate in the assembly hall. It was Anna who spoke first

"My dear classmates, it's time we finally invest in not only our university, but our planet! A compost garden would not only get rid of the foul mess hall stench, but it would make our campus look even better!"

"Quite the opposite" said Rose, "We students would still be getting served terrible food, more waste bins would be far cheaper, also, that money should be allocated into programs that already exist, like clubs and especially athletics!"

This got the crowd a bit fired up for the curvy redhead

"All wrong" Anna responded quickly "The last thing we need is more waste baskets, it would simply make the smell spread out across the mess hall more. And besides, athletics already has all the money they need! It's not like more money would make the field hockey team PLAY better."

The crowd laughed

"I take offense to that, you nerd!"

Now the crowd could feel the tension

"Oh relax" responded Anna "Field hockey was a general example it wasn't personal, I am right though." She smirked

"You're just jealous you don't have an athletic bone in your body." Spat Rose

"Oh yeah, so jealous. Rose, just stick to field hockey. I've seen some of your test scores, you might as well be blonde."

Rose's eyes went "You're one to talk about hair with that raggedy style you have"

"I use all natural shampoos just so you know! That's why my red hair is more crimson than yours. Hell, the stuff you use is so artificial you might as well be washing your hair with the leftover cafeteria food."

This made the assembly of students groan at the mere thought

Rose answered "I'd love to shampoo your hair with that slop, than you would see it isn't worth saving!"

Anna was shocked, but was able to launch a quick answer

"Well I'd love to give you a leftover shampoo so you'd come to realize it would be better off outside rather than inside!"

The crowd was very intrigued, and both candidates knew it.

"Why don't you put your money where your mouth is, Rose?" Asked Anna "Would you ever take a canteen leftover shampoo to prove your toughness to the class?"

Rose was shook. But she managed to come up with an answer.

"Well, a shampoo certainly seems like something you would do. You environment hipped and you acts of protest."

Rose thought some more, and have a smirk before issuing the challenge.

"You know what? How about the next class President gets to demonstrate the effect of cafeteria leftovers on the hair of the runner up?"

Rose truly wanted no part of this forfeit, but she thought maybe Anna would balk at the challenge, but she didn't.

"You are on!" She beamed "one week from today, at the assembly where they announce the next class President, a salon style shampoo for the loser! I'll have the custodian put a garbage bag on standby for us to use"

And so the challenge was set. One of these redheads would become the next class President, the other would be losing the election and her red locks to a truly disgusting shampoo. And it was all in the hands of their peers.
