The Additional AwardStory by SethJambaPosted 3/7/21 454 views
Ian watched those two actors walk into the audience looking dreadful. He had to refrain from rolling his eyes as he recorded them. He personally found their petty feud to be so annoying which the media loved to eat up. He had also heard some rumors that a someone was to get an extra award tonight. Ian believe that would be him, considering he was a popular star. But without further ado, he gave his own arrogant smirk as the award show began.
(For who Ian is referring to, read "The Best Looking Award")
Ian is a handsome man with dark hair and blue eyes. Since he is at the Oscars, he is obviously an actor with many films under his belt. He was currently waiting to be "presented" with another award as he has won many in the past. These awards made him gain an ego, but he hid it for the most part, only boasting when he found it "necessary" like impressing others. For the Oscars tonight, he wore a blue tuxedo jacket with a black lapel to cover his white tuxedo shirt, a black bow tie around his collar, silver cuff links, a black cummerbund, slacks, dress socks and shiny pair of tuxedo pumps.
He turned back and got a more comfortable seating position before the Oscars began. His "destined" award is "Best Actor With Leading Actor" at least that was what he calmed. Ian had this award was already wrapped around his finger.
The first half of the awards were boring to him, the awards not about him or his glory rather about the film industry with directors, films, music, production, makeup, and effects. But through of those awards, no one got an additional award. Ian pondered if the rumor of someone getting a secondary award was just a rumor.
Then came the actors and actresses. 'Finally' Ian thought, having sit his way through boring, in his opinion, awards when they aid him in making him appear in theaters.
Best actress went to Reese Owens.
Best supporting actress went to
Best supporting actor went to
And finally best actor.
The nominees were Payton, Adam, two more actors, and himself. The suspense was eating at him, wanting to know the winner.
Hopefully not the first two, since their appearances did not do them justice.
But anyways, the winner is...

"Ian Bennett for Best Actor!"
Ian immediately gushed with the pleasure, having the award. His smile was very noticeable, grinning nonstop at the award. He took his leave, heading off to claim it and relishing in the applause he was getting.
When he arrived on stage, he accepted the award and began his speech that he memorized.
But about one minute into his speech, having gloat the other competitors while being discreet, he realized he should have kept the speech short.
It began with green slime gushing at him like a fountain. Ian was shocked and irritated at this, getting a surprised gesture with his hands up and mouth open. The slime just smothered him in the green but were small streams so nothing was lasting damage... yet. The slime struck his tuxedo and reached up to his face as the residue dripping down his clothes and to the floor. After getting the "fountain" slime - it ended in about thirty seconds-, Ian saw his outfit was almost stained green. But what happened next was the finale. Ian was then engulfed in green slime from above, his appearance completely green now.
After his shocked demeanor ended, he decide to take his leave off stage, briefly slipping a little bit and mostly to ignore the looks and laughter he was receiving on stage. When he arrived backstage, he took a good look at himself from a mirror.
To say he was humiliated would be perfect for this situation. Ian was immersed in green, his face and hair completely mucked from the experience. The white tuxedo shirt he had on was stained, the black bow tie was also crooked from the exposure. Ian's blue tuxedo, black cummerbund, and silver cuff links were now coated in green. His black slacks had the substance running down them. His black dress socks were covered as well and his black tuxedo pumps had lost their shine in the pouring. And this annoyed Ian.
But before he could pout and throw a tantrum, he was given another award, one that said: "Most Humiliated Experience."
So the rumors had been true! Ian was the winner of the second award. He was ecstatic and proud...
Before he realized that this may have been a pity trophy and his tux was definitely gone for good. But alas, he would take it!
