It was Saturday and Carla and Hayley were shopping in town. Carla was wearing a Blue summer dress with short sleeves, just above knee in length with small white flowers deign, nude tights and blue high heels. Hayley was wearing Black leggings, A grey off the shoulder top which was just long enough to cover her bum and Ugg boots. Carla had decided that jeans were what she wanted to swim in, but she wanted a good new pair that would fit her perfectly. So they were in town to find a pair and maybe see what Hayley planned to wear if she could turn the conversation that way.
As they sat waiting for Naomi to join them for a coffee. Carla decided it was time to seize the moment and ask her friend if she had thought about her swimming outfit and maybe reveal her newly discovered passion for wet clothes.
There was a pause in conversation and Carla took the chance.
'Hayley, Have you put any thought into what your going to wear in the pool on Tuesday?'
As she spoke Naomi appeared and waved at the two girls sitting at the caf She was wearing a cream suit jacket, thin white blouse, skin tight leather leggings and a pair of gold high heeled sandals. Hayley saw her and waved back and Naomi started walking to join them.
As Naomi sat down a waitress appeared to offer them more coffees, And as they were ordering Hayley said 'Sorry Carla, What were you saying?' Carla blushed a bit as not only was there now a stranger listening who would no doubt wonder about her strange question but Naomi as well, Who although Carla had known for a while was not as close a friend as Hayley. 'what the hell' she thought, 'I just won't mention straight away that I've had a few practice soakings'.
'I was just wondering if you had thought about the outfit your going to wear in the pool on Tuesday Hayley? or you Naomi'? She enquired.
Hayley thought for a moment and said 'Well this probably. it's what I wear in town shopping' They laughed for a moment and Carla replied 'Aren't you worried about Holly being better dressed than you? Naomi chimed in saying 'You can't go swimming in ugg boots, they'll be like two great big sponges on your feet.
Hayley laughed 'I hadn't really thought about it. Uggs probably aren't ideal for swimming, And as for Holly, I don't need to worry, Look at Naomi's Shopping outfit. That will easily out glam anything Holly wears. She said that knowing very well that she couldn't let Holly win and other girls knew it too. maybe her outfit did need a bit more thought.
Naomi glanced down at her outfit and said 'Do you think this is a bit too good to swim in?' They all laughed and Carla's mind drifted to how her leather trousers might feel soaking wet and whether she should say something to warn Naomi that her trousers would probably be ruined In the pool, But if they paired up she could maybe get a bit of a feel of them. Suddenly she was shaken back to reality by Hayley demanding that Naomi stand up. Turn around, lift the back your jacket so I can have a look at your bum. Naomi dutifully did as she was asked. 'I love those trousers' exclaimed Hayley. 'I'll show you where I bought them' replied Naomi, 'but they wont go very well with your uggs. But before we do that I think Carla has a point about thinking more about what we're going to wear, If she brought it up you'd have gone straight in the water and sunk like a stone dragged down by your boots. Carla, You've clearly given this some thought, What are you going to wear'? This was it Carla's big moment.
'Well', She started 'I thought Jeans would be best, but I wasn't sure whether to go with skinny or baggy, So I tried them both out in the shower yesterday when I got home. The baggy ones kept sliding down so I'd probably loose them in the pool and skinny ones are hard to move in and nearly impossible to get off. So I'm going to get some nice new snug, well fitted ones to wear today and break them in in the pool'.
The other two girls looked at Carla like she was mad, then a look of realisation spread across there faces. 'Carla You're a genius' Said Hayley 'Too light and floaty and we'll be forever yanking it up or down, to tight and restrictive and we won't be able to move. This is going to need a lot more thought'. They finished their drinks and as they stood up Holly walked over. Dressed in perspex heels, white mini skirt, pink corset and white leather jacket.
'Hi Girls' She called out as she walked towards them. 'I've just been and had my hair done, fresh colour and new extensions ready for Tuesday, Got to look my best' She walked passed them and sat down at a table in the smoking section.
The girls said their Goodbyes to Holly and headed off.
Right then, 'We need to find Carla a pair of swimming jeans and I need a pair of leather leggings like yours Naomi'. They crossed the road and into a fairly expensive designer clothes shop and started sorting through the jeans, Picking up several pairs for Carla to try on. After few 'maybes' and a couple of definite 'no's they found the perfect pair. Snug but not too tight a nice mid blue with a slight flair and they made Carla's bum look in Hayley's words 'biteable' They then headed to another rack where the leather trousers were hung. Naomi took the lead and found a pair like hers. les chiffoniers, in Hayley's size. Hayley checked the price, £700 reduced to £280. How could she not they were a bargain. She took them to the changing rooms and slid them on. 'Amazing' she thought. And at less than half price the other two girls couldn't resist a bargain either so bought themselves a pair each too.
As this was going on Holly had been watching over her cigarette and coffee. she had a plan. Get some leather leggings just like theirs but wear them in the pool. they'd never wear their expensive new clothes in the pool. 'This is too easy she thought.' She finished her coffee and headed into the shop straight to the leather leggings. After sorting through for a while she found they didn't have her size, she asked an assistant to check, but no luck. not to be defeated Holly bought just bought a size smaller 'Super tight, super sexy' she thought.
The other three girls had left for home, Naomi driving. Carla was first to be dropped off. as she got out of the car Hayley asked her 'Off for a practice in your new jeans?'
'No, replied Carla. I can wait for Tuesday. Knowing full well that she was going to enjoy a nice refreshing shower in her dress and tights before sleeping in her new jeans.
Hayley and Naomi arrived at Hayley's house and she got out. As she was getting out she turned to Naomi and said 'See you later, I'm off to soak everything in my wardrobe.
Naomi laughed and drove off heading for home. When she arrived her heart was racing. Could she really get her stylish outfit wet? Would her trousers be ok? The best way to find out is to give it a try. And besides, she had a nice new pair. She headed upstairs and into the bathroom. Slipped of her shoes and watch and turned on the water, Not too hot though, just in case.
She thought for a second and put her shoes and watch back on...
And stepped into the shower cubicle turning her back to the stream. She let out a gasp as the water soaked through her jacket and trousers. Slowly turning around getting a thorough wetting. She slicked her hair back and just stood thinking for a few minutes. this felt good. After a while she stepped out of the shower dried her self off and changed into her pyjamas. She carefully hung up her outfit to dry and went to bed.
Sunday morning and Naomi's plan to sleep In was interrupted by want to check her outfit from yesterday. it was perfect, completely unaffected by it's soaking.
Well that's my outfit sorted she said to herself and headed for the bathroom. She turned on the shower nice and hot and stepped in still in her thin white pyjamas and slippers. As she stood there in soaking wet completely see through pyjamas she thought to herself 'What on earth has Carla started.
