"There we--woah-woah-WOAH!" Brenda fell backwards onto her her basket-ball shorts-covered bottom. She had just just gotten her very first pair of roller-skates and was trying her best not to fall over. As she tried to lean up and get back on her feet again, she lost her balance and fell forward catching herself with her hands.

"This is gonna take a little more practice," she thought to herself. She looked down at her rollerskates--they were white, hi-top laced shoes with bright, neon-green wheels. Her friends had all recently gotten into the roller-skating scene, and Brenda wanted to learn so she could go with them to the roller-disco. That's what brought her to the park that hot Saturday afternoon.

Whenever fell over, there was no shortage of young men eager to help pick her up. She was a very pretty young woman with long, soft brown hair, a cute face with a slightly dimpled chin, and bright, blue eyes. She was of average height and wore a light-blue blouse tied in a knot at the bottom to make it a crop-top. Her basketball-shorts only came an inch or two down her long, pristinely shaped legs. Up from her skates, she wore white, knee-high socks.

Despite how many times she fell, she managed to get back up and keep going. And as she spent time getting used to the skates that day, the less she began to fall over. Soon, she smiled brightly to see that she was finally getting the hang of them. Before leaving the park, Brenda stopped at a stand to get an ice-cream cone. She happily licked the one scoop of chocolate on her way back through the park--now confident that she wouldn't fall over. That is--until she reached the top of the hill.

She went out of the park a different route than the way she had come in. The new route she included a slight downward hill. Though it was slight, Brenda found herslelf quickly picking up speed. Before she knew it, she was zooming down the hill at high speed. She dropped her ice cream and waved her hands wildly to try and keep balance. The few by-standers on the path got out of her way as she came zipping down. She was going way too fast to break without tumbling violently forward. She decided to wait and see if she'd slow down at the bottom of the hill.

Unfortunately, at the bottom of the hill, the path ran only for several meters before veering off to the right. Brenda panicked. There was no way she could turn or slow down in enough time. At the end of the path near the curb was a table around which a group of people were gathered. She was on a direct collision-course with that table and could do nothing to stop it.

"KER-SPLORSH!!" Everyone at the birthday party stood up and looked in disbelief at the picnic table. Buried face-down in a large, white cream-cake was Brenda with her long hair all splayed out atop. Huge glops of cream and icing had come rolling down the rim of the grand confection. Everyone gasped as Brenda slowly lifted her cake-smeared face to them and spat out a good deal of cream and icing that got in her mouth. She then wiped the mess out of her eyes and thought to herself,

"I really need more practice."
