"Do re mi fa sol la ti do. Do re mi fa sol la ti do. Do re mi fa sol la ti do."
Eric continued to practice his vocal warm ups as he was determined to win, and to a great extent blow the competition away, at choir regionals. He is the leader of the team, considering himself as the best in the entire team and carried them figuratively speaking. Granted he was in shower, but still he wanted to be his best.
Eric is a handsome man with black hair and eyes. He is flamboyant when it comes to singing, always wanting to be better than everyone else, which led him to leading the choir team of White Mountain Institute. As much as he doesn't want to admit though, he does technically have the most solos.
He was out of the shower soon, having practiced nonstop since it was regionals. He did his face care routine and some freshening up then got dressed for the competition. Eric dressed himself in something causal, a red t-shirt, jeans, white socks, and red high tops. He packed his performance outfit in a suit cover so it would be presentable. Eric did a few more vocal warm ups before he left, ready to demolish his opponents.
He arrived at the bus, seeing his twenty three teammates also there and ready to go. The team was comprised of males all dressed in causal attire. After everyone had arrived and entered the bus, they began to head off to their destination with Eric having everyone practice on the way there. They would do crush this competition.
...
Next thing, Eric sees is their rival school. Starhigh Prep Academy, which hosted the most annoying and arrogant -in his opinion- choir team Eric had ever met. They were currently dressed in their school uniforms: a white dress shirt with a red sweater vest with the school logo -either with or without sleeves-, some had blue blazers, a red and blue striped tie, navy blue slacks, mainly black dress socks, and various black dress shoes -mostly lace ups, but a few wore loafers-. Their team was about the same number as Eric's team.
(If you are wondering what the uniforms look like picture wise, read "Senior Gunge")
The leader stole a quick glance, before smirking at seeing their rivals here. They had a plan to make sure they win.
The director of Eric's team followed into the hotel they were staying in and left to enter there separate rooms.
Upon entering his room, Eric noticed a letter on the bed. Curious he opened it and read aloud:
"Dear Eric,
Well, nice to see you. Hope that voice of yours is as perfect as we heard it to be. Perhaps after the competition, you and your team could demonstrate what tone is. We will be waiting, after regionals, in the parking garage.
Hope to see you there,
Starhigh Prep Academy Choir Leader
PS: bring your best"
The note infuriated Eric. While he didn't remember anyone else on the team names, he knew they were just as good as him... albeit he was way better than them in many ways, but still.
This battle just got ugly.
...
After regionals, the two teams met in the parking garage, settling the score on their own terms. Eric had on a nice black tuxedo tail jacket, a white tuxedo shirt and vest, a white bow tie around his collar, black slacks, black dress socks, and black patent leather shoes. The other members of his team had on black tuxedo tails, white dress shirts, vests, black slacks, white bow ties, black dress or otc socks, and black dress shoes. These were the clothes they had on when performing.
The winners would be announced tomorrow afternoon, so they had some time to relax and rewind before leaving the next two days. The director was off in the spa, probably falling asleep while getting the massage.
But back on the main topic, Eric had told his teammates about the letter after regionals and, while they did not share a grudge with the rival school thinking it's just petty, agreed they needed to knock down the prep school a couple of inches. Arriving on the scene, Eric saw the leader of the opposing school still in their uniforms (having worn them when competing) in front of three vans
The team leaders acknowledged each other before Eric got to the point. The prep student rolled his eyes before snapping his fingers and the rest of his team began to start harmonizing. Seeing where this was going, Eric also had his team began to start harmonizing as well. Their voices clashed with each other, "fighting" for dominance, while circling one another. The a cappella continue for about three minutes, finishing the song they were singing.
Eric's voice wasn't exhausted, having saved it for this occasion since he knew what would happen when they met. The prep choir leader was the same way, complimenting ...
Before smirking and snapping his fingers.
His corresponding team opened the back doors of the three vans. Two revealed a bunch of pies while one had a large container with a hose attached.
This puzzled Eric and his team, wondering why they had those... before seeing the opposing team start grabbing the pies. Eric's eyes bugged out, before trying to make placating gestures to avoid them from the incoming onslaught.
Too late.
The prep school leader hurled one of his pies straight at Eric's face, which landed and splattered him. Another was launched and struck Eric in his dress shirt, allowing crust to stick. The prep leader gave a laugh at the action, loving the humiliation he was getting. More pies were thrown, colliding all over his body as if he was a archery target.
It wasn't just Eric though, the other team members began to receive their fair share of pies. The pies burst upon contact, leaving them with tons of cream and crust on their formal attire. And since Starhigh Academy had many pies, they constantly continued to humiliate the opposing choir team. The onslaught continued until the prep school ran out of pies to hurl...
Only to unleash the substance within the container.
It appeared to be thick red slime. The gushing torrent landed onto the choir team of White Mountain Institute, Eric feeling humiliated as they were drenched in the slime. He closed his eyes and had a shock mannerism as he constantly received the liquid to himself and his team, all also in the same manner and staggering back from the torrent. All they could do was endure the content.
Laughing at their misfortune, Starhigh Academy eventually ended their humiliation against the choir team since the slime had ran out. Not before getting at the new "attire" White Mountain Institute now has.
For starters, Eric looked almost like a humanoid cherry pie, red slime and pie all over his body. His face and hair was ruined with both substances. His front side were immersed in the same contents, red slime being more apparent. The black tuxedo jacket had pie stains with red droplets along its lapel. The white tuxedo shirt and vest was completely drenched and stained to the point it where it would not survive. His white bow tie was crooked, now in a 45 degree angle. The blacks slacks he adorned became a soggy messy from cream and slime, while the residue ran down onto his dress socks and onto black dress shoes, which were standing the mess themselves.
His teammates were in the same position. Cream and crust having been thrown out them and plastered in various parts of their attire, most notably the tuxedo tail jacket, dress shirt, dress vest, and bow tie. Red slime had given them a makeover since they were immersed in it. The slacks they wore had the same outcome as their tops. Black dress socks and black patent leather dress shoes had been reduced to red, white cream, and brown crust that had either dripped or fallen on or in them and only getting more ruined as they continued to stand in mess.
Eric was shocked, but this quickly turned to anger. This was outrageous! Who were they to tarnish their tuxedos!
The leader of Starhigh Prep Academy then slowly approached Eric, ignoring the mess infused floor as he stepped into it in his black loafers, with a sly smile. Eric stood his ground, not afraid of anything he could do to him know. The leader briefly both mocked and taunted Eric and his team, before giving a parting gift...
A whipped cream pie to his face.
Eric had closely his eyes in a minute as the impact came and quickly -along with irritatedly- wiped the cream away to see the opposing team leave in the vans with a snide laughter.
Eric and his teammates watched them leave, Eric giving a glare while the other members were either joining in on the hatred or trying to clean themselves up.
This rivalry just got personal and Eric vowed to bring humiliation upon Starhigh Prep Academy.
