Hannah - Aqua Sphering day
Before we split up Fiona had bought me an experience voucher for my birthday, this was for a couples aqua sphereing experience and had been bought as a new and fun way for us to get wet.

After Hannah and I had been dating for a couple months i mentioned the voucher to her and said it would be a shame if it went to waste and asked if she was up for giving it a go? She was a bit unsure so we did a bit of research on youtube, it is amazing how many videos there are of people aqua sphereing or aqua zorbing.

The basic idea was climb into one of the giant zorb balls and instead of being harnessed in you get a few inches of water chucked into the bottom of the ball with you.. Then they roll you down the hill and slide all over the place, the voucher described it as a cross between a really wild water slide and a washing machine. After a few videos she decided it looked fun so we phoned to book it for the following weekend, the nearest place we could go with the voucher was about 90 miles away so we decided to go for a mid morning slot and make a day of it in the surrounding area.

It was a nice sunny morning when we headed off to the Cotswolds, I was in my usual t shirt and shorts and Hannah was in a pink vest top and leggings. We turned up at what was basically a large field with a gazebo and large zorb balls at the top of hill, basic but I guess the experience was going to be worth it. After we had gone and signed all the insurance paperwork we were handed a small camera to video our experience and were taken over to the zorb ball.

I slid in first as i had the camera, the technique was to take a short run and dive head first through the hole in the side of the ball, as i slid through i went head first and on my belly into the water on the bottom of the ball instantly soaking the front of my tshirt, shorts and boxers, the back of my shorts was wet too as I turned round and aimed the camera at the hole in the ball to catch Hannah coming in! As she slid in there was a small squeal as she dropped into the water as she came up on her hands and knees to turn round I could see her zebra print bra through her wet top, as she came over and splashed down beside me she looked straight at me and grinned a little nervously.

The guys who were running the zorbing had obviously decided that there wasn't quite enough water in the ball with us so the hose got sprayed in for a couple minutes until the water was just about over our legs as we were sat down, i knew from how wet i was that Hannahs knickers would be soaking even though i couldn't see them. After they had plugged the hole I felt Hannah grip my arm tighter as they couldn't down from outside.

3...2....1....GO!!!!

As they shouted go we felt the ball start to move and we started to slide, the water was splashing everywhere it didn't take long to get completely disorientated as we slid and twisted around as the ball. Hannah was screaming as the water splashed everywhere there was not a single dry place on us, it was a fantastic ride the most exciting type of waterslide. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone to try!

As we go to the bottom the ball came to a slow stop and the water sloshed around, Hannah and i looked at each other laughing and had a very quick kiss before the ball was opened up, i slid out first and turned to watch Hannah slide out behind me her bra was visible as were the outline of her knickers through her wet leggings.

We handed the camera over and had a quick dry off with a towel as we waited for the video to be ready, we decided not to bother getting changed and sat in the sun watching other people having a go until we had dried off enough to climb into the car and head off to Bourton on the water for lunch and a wander around in our damp clothes which was a lovely way to stay cool on such a hot day!

But that was not the end of our wet adventures for the day...
