Things had been going great for Dan ever since he'd hooked up with Emily. They had originally been bitter rivals at college, with the Emily usually getting the upper hand. That included one occasion where they'd both appearance on a gameshow and he'd ended up getting pied and gunged much to Emily and the audiences' evident delight.

But their relationship had undergone a reversal a few months ago. Dan's parents had signed him up for some extra tuition and by coincidence it was with Emily's mum. Despite Emily tricking Dan at every opportunity and getting him messy whenever possible, love had blossomed between the pair.

Dan was excited as he made his way to Emily's house. Not for once because he was seeing his beautiful girlfriend, but rather that thanks to his improved academic grades he'd been invited for an interview with a prestigious technology company. Never having had an actual job interview before, Dan was keen to get some advice from Emily's mum.

He walked up the drive to the house and knocked on the front door. There was no response but that wasn't unusual, so he went round the back. Emily's mum was in the kitchen and waved in greeting at him. Dan waved back and headed into the house.

"Emily is upstairs" Ms Kenzie stated.

"That's great, although I was hoping to ask you a favour first" Dan said.

Dan told her about the upcoming interview and his lack of experience with them. She recommended doing a mock interview so he could practice answering possible questions and gain confidence with the process. It sounded like a great idea to Dan and he gladly accepted the offer. Ms Kenzie checked her diary and suggested the following Monday evening.

"Of course, you will need to dress appropriately" she declared.

"What for?" Emily asked, appearing in the kitchen.

Dan started to explain but was interrupted when Emily gave him a big sloppy kiss right in front of her mother. Dan was suitably embarrassed, but Ms Kenzie seemed to accept her daughter's antics and left them to their canoodling.

It was Saturday morning and Dan was just getting ready to head out to the skatepark when his phone went off. Picking up the mobile he unlocked the screen and checked who was calling before answering. It turned out to be Emily which was surprising as Dan thought she had planned to go shoe shopping.

"Hi princess, what's up?" Dan asked.

"Mum's plans have change and she says that if you still want her to do the mock interview it'll have to be today" Emily explained.

Dan said he'd be over shortly and thanked Emily for letting him know. He quickly headed upstairs and stripped out of his casual clothes and dressed in a smart pair of black trousers and a white shirt that he'd last worn at his older cousin's wedding. A tie and dress shoes completed the look and he quickly threw a comb through his hair before dashing out.

He made it to Emily and her mother's house in record time and knocked on the door. It was only as he waited for someone to answer that he grew suspicious that this might all be one of Emily's messy pranks. Afterall, he hadn't actually spoken with Ms Kenzie herself.

"Please come in" Emily stated as she opened the door.

Emily was dressed smartly in a cream coloured blouse, pencil skirt and flat shoes. It was an atypical look for her, but Dan thought she looked hot in it. He went to give her a kiss, but she stepped back, shaking her head.

"Please take a seat" she said pointing towards the lounge "the interview will start shortly."

Dan was a little confused did but as he was told. However, he'd barely sat down on the sofa before Emily signalled him to get up and follow her into the kitchen. Once again, he was apprehensive that this one Emily's tricks so were relieved to see her mum sitting at the kitchen table dressed in a smart business suit.

Ms Kenzie looked up from some papers she'd apparently been perusing and indicated for Dan to join her. As Dan took a seat at the table, Emily gave him a friendly wink before stepping back over to the other side of the kitchen.

"Tell me about yourself?" Ms Kenzie asked.

It wasn't the opening he'd expected for the interview, but he guessed it was one of the more common questions. He took a moment to gather his wits before responding. He told Ms Kenzie his name, age, where he went to school and what subjects he liked and was good at.

The answer seemed to satisfy her, and she went on to probe him about his technical abilities and experiences. He kept answering and thought he was doing reasonably well until Ms Kenzie unexpectedly changed tack with her final question.

"What do you and Emily get up to when I'm not around?" she queried.

Dan was surprised by the question. All he could think about were the times Emily had messed him up and their makeout sessions afterwards, neither of which he wanted to admit to Emily's mother. However, Emily responded for him as she leaned in and planted a custard pie in his face.

"Does that answer your question?" Emily responded.

Ms Kenzie began to laugh as Dan sat totally stunned. It was bad enough that he let Emily humiliate him again and again but doing so in public, and especially in front of someone he wanted to impress, was mortifying for him. And it only got worse as Emily wheeled over a trolley laden with creamy desserts and began to unload them upon him.

Pies were thrust into his face, against the sides of his head and all over his torso. His smart clothes were totally ruined, and it didn't end there. Emily dumped a large trifle on top of his head and twisted the bowl back and forth to ensure maximum messy carnage. Finally, there was just one custard pie left which Ms Kenzie grabbed before her daughter could use it.

"That looks like fun" Ms Kenzie stated.

Ms Kenzie stood up and made her way next to Emily. She then held the pie out threateningly towards her daughter's face and Dan suddenly thought he was about to see his girlfriend get her just desserts. But then Ms Kenzie spun round and thrust the pie into Dan's face much to Emily's relief.

Ms Kenzie had left Dan and Emily to clean up after the mock interview which in turn had led to them making out. However, whilst Emily promised to keep their messy play private in future Dan didn't believe her and was sure that more public humiliations were in store for him.
