Interactive: Five Summer Days
Story by Jouette

You are Daniel, a young man on his way to five days of Camp Geas, a summer camp for young adults.

You will live through wet and messy adventures alongside other boys and girls who participate in the camp and live their youth to the fullest, with mud, slime and water.

This is a longer interactive choose-your-own-adventure story.

Features:
- All the kinds of substances: mud, slime, food and water.
- Challenges, geas, and other camp mechanics keep the story moving forwards
- Get to know Helen and Cori, your fellow participants, and maybe become their friend
- 17 achievements to acquire, campsite map and other extras
- An average playthrough runs at 10,000 words; the total word count including all routes is about 30,000 words.
- Autosave system that allows you to resume your session another time

This is my first story where you play as a male protagonist, and my first story where the characters have multi-faceted personalities that don't reduce just to one word.

Many thanks to all my UMD prereaders who helped with editing.

I can't recommend this story enough. Jouette is an expert at crafting and creating interactive stories and Five Summer Days is beyond any WAM story I've read. The writing is snappy and a pleasure to read. You gently nudge the story along to create vastly different experiences, and it's a very rewarding read.

And probably the only WAM story I've read with an Autosave feature.

Agreed Dave!
I understand how difficult it is to write and program the create your own adventure stories - especially ones that keep track of so many features!

I would certainly be willing to help with pre-reading/bug chasing for the next installments if you need it Jouette!

I like the idea of the story, but too many options seem far from "lighthearted."
Sorry, but the humiliation aspect always upsets me, and (without giving away spoilers), basically forcing one to participate and having certain outcomes with said character is just the opposite of "light-hearted." PUT HUMILIATION IN THE TAGS! As weird as it is, a story can have both aspects.
I cannot fathom all the time and effort you put into these and don't think you mean anything by this otherwise you would have put it in the tag already seeing as you have so much experience with the these.
