The young man that was Dylan joined in the applause from the audience around him, the youthful sandy haired blonde hardly drawing any real attention from the other occupants of the closely packed seats he was perched on the end of. Something that was quite usual for him. Despite being cute in short, skinny kind of way; Dylan had a knack of blending in with his unflashy dress sense that eschewed labels and high end fashions for a better mix of style and price tag. Right now of course he could have been wearing the most garish and unashamedly fashionable outfit and he would still not have attracted any attention. Mostly because the whole crowd around him, including his much more fashionably dressed girlfriend, was focused on the ornately complex set/stage that sat below the raised seating that surrounded it.

Where as his applause was merely polite, hers was genuinely enthused. And small wonder, given the figure in the centre of that stage who was the focus of the audience's rapt attention, a celebrity of who Jenna proclaimed to be her biggest fan. So much so that Dylan had more often than not teased her about having a little girl crush on the admittedly cute performer that was Shakira. And given how long she had umm'd and ahhh'd over her outfit tonight, he would have been forgiven for making tbsp joke again. While it might be relationship suicide to say that she had made less of an effort to dress up for their first date, Jenna certainly had pulled out all the stops with her outfit for tonight.

Not that he was complaining about her choice of a soft pink v neck halter top mostly covered by the crisp white button down shirt she had slipped over it, leaving most of the buttons undone to reveal the loose fabric that concealed her breasts; a subtle tease for anyone who might have let their gaze linger. On the other hand, there was nothing subtle about the skinny chinos that hugged every inch of her from the waist down to her ankles, deliciously showing off her full curves to even the most casual glance. When asked, he had of course said she looked gorgeous. Of course, to him she always looked gorgeous. No matter if she wore her raven hair long and loose, pulled back in a pony tail or close cut to follow which ever celebrity style she was aping this month; with her bright green eyes and lightly tanned skin that covered all of her delicate frame she was always the most beautiful woman in the room to Dylan. As corny as an idea it might be, since they had gotten together he had never had eyes for another woman. Not even with the glorious pop artist before him that Jenna had been raving to see.

Not that he could blame her for being excited either. She was always the first in line to get her music and stuff like that. So how could he deny her the chance to see her perform in person. Honestly, it was the perfect storm of perfect timing and luck on a cosmic scale. And quite the change of heart on her part.

Of course she had scoffed when he had entered into a competition to win tickets for a place in the audience of his favourite tv show; which just happened to be the hottest show on tv. The one place celebrities were dying to be seen, despite the..risks that came with it. Not that Jenna ever really watched it, always having something else to do whenever Noel's (pronounced No-ell not Nole as he was always keen to point out, the name having been subtly changed when the show changed hands for its reboot in around five years ago) House Party was on. While she always feigned a little distain for it; Dylan had always felt it was an excuse to allow him to enjoy it in private. Which was a good thing, he often reflected. Had Jenna known about its unique selling point she might not have let him watch it. And she certainly wouldn't be here in the audience with him right now he was sure.

Yet she didn't, which was no doubt part of the reason she had rushed into the kitchen early last Wednesday with the newly opened tickets he had left on the table clutched in one hand as she demanded she take him along; the letter that came with them which he had largely set aside for later announcing a live performance from her celebrity as the main act.

Try as he might Dylan had been unable to say no; both from fear of crushing her dream to see the women she idolised and fangirled and from being unable to find a way to explain exactly what she might be risking by going along that didn't make him sound like a total pervert each time he rehearsed it in his head.

So here they were, seated amidst the audience who amongst all their number Jenna was maybe the only one unaware what could happen to her. Then again, maybe not. It wouldn't be the first time a audience member had tricked an unsuspecting friend, family member or significant other along for an experience they would likely never forget. Heck, wasn't it last week that boyfriend had brought along his girlfriend who had spent all week crowing about the drubbing her football team had handed his. Something that really hadn't gone down well with the audience at all. And certainly hadn't gone in her favour.

Still..the odds of that happening here were zero. After all, he hadn't exactly told anyone he was going along. Never mind that he was taking Jenna, so she was likely to be perfectly safe. Clearly Shakira thought so too. Either that or she was just being a great sport as her bouncy dance steps carried her towards the button fixed mid stage, one surely wired up to the fireworks she traditionally ended a number with. Or that might have just been what she had been told. There was no hesitation on the way she slapped the golden dome of the button. Or in the way she vanished through the trapdoor that sprung open beneath her. It wouldn't be until he saw the broadcast version later that he saw actually what happened. So he like the rest of the audience waited with baited breath until she emerged, lifted up on a square platform as drenched in pink slime as she was, her heavily saturated clothing clinging to her skin.

Despite the entrancing sight before him, he still had to pull his eyes away as he felt Jenna's eyes on him, he gaze saying in no uncertain terms that he knew about this. Luckily he was spared answering that question by the sudden round of good natured applause that would have rendered any answer inaudible anyway. Still he knew there would be a reckoning about this when she got him home.

Jenna has to ask what that was or shoot him a glance that said he knew about this, didn't he. Luckily he was spared answering by the round of good natured and appreciative applause, knowing maybe some trouble waited him when they got home.

'Wasn't she a great sport ladies and gentlemen.' Noel moved quickly from the wings of the set as the well gunged yet good spirited singer slipped off to clean herself up coitesey of the backstage showers. During the brief musical interlude the petit brunette had changed out of her plain black skirt and jacket into a more casual choice of jeans and an artfully ruffled chemise top that matched her style for the latter half of the show, as well as giving a nice glimpse of her not so petit bust. 'Let's hope we haven't scared her off because I'm sure you'd all to love to see her perform again. Anyway..ohsomeone at the door?'

That sudden question was directed to the deep booming knock that rang around the set. 'I must get those knockers fixed.' Noel said in an utterly deadpan tone that still had the audience chucking at the tongue in cheek joke. 'I wonder who it could be? Someone who can get these knockers fixed for me?'

Pretending not to hear the continuing laughter, Noel pulled open the door to reveal a brunette young woman perhaps a good foot or tall taller dressed in a Post Office outfit slightly too risquto be genuine, the length of the skirt alone enough to raise some eyebrows with even the most laid back of employers who drew an loud wave of applause from the audience as she raised her cap covered head . 'I've got a package for you.'

'Haven't you just.' Noel said in full on cheesy flirtation. 'Can I unwrap it now..oh..you mean letters?'

'Letter's indeed.' The almost post watershed clad Megan Fox replied. 'One of my last drops of the day. And good thing too. It's so hot out there. I could really do with a shower. I don't suppose you have somewhere here I could shower off do you?'

'Err..no..not really.' Noel said quickly even as the audience all glanced at one at the Gunge tank at the rear of the set. 'Not right now anyway. I've..got a few guests. But maybe if you pop back later, we can see what we can do.'

Pretending she didn't hear the disappointed ripple that moved through the audience, Noel turned her attention to the envelopes in her hand. 'Let's see. Junk..junk..junk..Gunge Bill..it's amazing how it adds up..so expensive to have it pumped in. Oh, what's this? Fan mail? It's been so long since we last had some. Let's see' Noel paused to delicately open the envelope and pull out the neatly folded piece of paper. 'Dear Noel..I'm writing to you on behalf of a friend who is in your audience tonight. He is too shy to say it but he would love to see his girlfriend gunged. Please could you arrange it for him. Frankie.'

Despite himself Dylan shot a startled look at his girlfriend; the juxtaposition of that name not lost on her either. Frankie was the name of Jenna's best friend but surely that was a coincidence, Dylan tried to comfort himself with that thought even as Noel continued oblivious of his growing worry. It didn't help that Jenna herself now looked anxious, the mention of her friend's name having rattled her too.

'Wellwe'd love to help. But it's not like we have her friends here tonight..do we Dylan Klein?'

Ohhhh dear. Dylan managed what he hoped was a relaxed smile as the suddenly flared spotlight, and doubtless the cameras as well, quickly focused on him; removing any doubt she could have meant someone else.

'Come on down. Don't be shy.' Dylan could only imagined the look on his face was the same as the dozens of people who's footsteps he was following in and who he might just have more sympathy for the someone he saw this happen to the next time he caught an episode. Maybe. Who Jenna might have sympathy for he had no idea, but it was unlikely to be him given the look of utter mortification on her face as she followed behind him.

'That's it. Come up here.' Noel beckoned with her exaggerated cheerfulness. 'Come on. It's okay. Are you okay Jenna? Nervous maybe?'

'A little.' Jenna admitted with an steady, almost accusatorial glance at Dylan. 'I wasn't expecting this.'

'Well..if it makes you feel better, neither was he.' Noel placated her with a friendly smile. 'I'd hate to break up such a cute couple. I do hope you will still be talking after tonight.'

'I suppose that depends on if he gunges me or not.' Jenna said with a mock savage grin.

'Well..that might not be down to him.' Noel continued. 'See, I'm going to throw you a bone by way of a little game we like to play here. If you win, you'll walk out of here not just with your very nice outfit still intact but also with a dream romantic holiday for two and ten thousand pounds spending money in your pockets. If not..well..you'll have something else in your pockets. And everywhere else really.'

'Well..when you put it like that.' Jenna mused, the prize now dangled before her eyes more than a little tempting. Tempting enough to make her consider it. After all, Shakira had been a good enough sport to face the Gunge, so she could do no less. 'Okay. I'll do it.'

'Wonderful. This way please.' Noel wasted no time in leading them over to a section of the set that was already set up for this segment that had been planned out pretty much as soon as the last episode had ended. While her attitude and demrmour hadn't shifted, Noel was always impressed by the creativity the production and design staff displayed, this new set having features she could never have dreamed off back when they started. While the tank that was revealed by the slowly rotating wall wasn't the most complicated in terms of design, what it lacked in sophistication it made up for in eye grabbing detail. True, it was just the same tank from series one on the inside; the exterior having been seriously redesigned with imposing facade designed to replicate the gothic facade you might find on a U.S skyscraper, right down to the artfully grotesque gargoyles.

It was on that tank that Jenna couldn't help but focus given the simple reason that she was lead over to gingerly step into the tank and settle into the high backed wooden chair carved with delicate flower motif.

'Comfy there Jenna? Good.' Noel said as she swung the door of the tank shut with a heavy clack. 'Now, I'm not sure you will entirely be able to blame Dylan should things..not go your way, because this is sort of a team game. So I hope you are feeling sharp. Have you noticed the screen over there?'

'I'm more worried about something above me at the moment.' Jenna said with a nervous giggle.

'So you should be. It's disgusting stuff.' Noel said holding a deadpan expression just for a second. 'NoI'm kidding. It's not that bad. Well..not really. Well..you'll find out. Or not. Anyway, all Dylan has to do is read out the clues that appear on the screen in front of him.'

Dragging her eyes gratefully away from the tank above her that still hovered with ominous intent, Jenna noticed the large tv screen pointedly aimed away from her and towards her still sheepishly grinning boyfriend.

'Dylan here will have two minutes to help you answer four questions.' Noel continued casually. 'Each question will start with one clue. You can ask for another but it will cost you ten seconds of time. Dylan can only use the clues we give him. Even if he knows the answer, he can't give you any more help than that. If you manage it, you'll get away perfectly safe and head home to a well enjoyed holiday. If not..well..you will be going home after a much needed shower. Are you ready?'

'I am.' Jenna said, kinda wishing she had watched some of this program now. Then she might have had some idea how this game was played. Still..she wasn't going to let that slow her down.

'Good. You have two minutes starting..now.'

Jenna didn't find that remotely reassuring since she had no idea of the questions Dylan was going to see on the screen before him. Neither was she relieved when he read out the first clue since it didn't mean much to her.

'Chemical element with atomic number of 20.' Dylan called out perhaps more loudly than she needed, his voice easily carried through the solid plastic around her.

Beats me. That surely was the meaning of the shrug Jenna returned that drew an amused chuckle from the audience. Which didn't stop her from taking a guess from the assortment of letters before him. 'Okay..let's see..elementselements..could be..errrrrmhydrogen..oxygen..helium..

'Those are guesses. Would you like another clue?' Noel asked.

'Yes please.' Jenna said, hoping the clue would be worth the loss of the time.

'It has the chemical symbol of Ca.' Dylan called out, seeing clearly how much she hoped that the next clue would help. Sadly it didn't. Not one bit.

'I think that's..is it cadmium? Or calcium?' Jenna paused as he pondered her own question. 'Could be calcium I suppose.'

'Maybe.' Dylan said, fighting back a bemused chuckle. It felt odd, caught between his desire to help Jenna and the thrilling notion of what would happen because he couldn't.

A realisation that wasn't lost on Jenna either. Perhaps if Dylan had encouraged her to watch this show a little more she might be better at this. Of course, had she just deigned to watch it once in a while the same could be said. But how could either of them know that one day they might take part. Still..she had no choice but to ask for the third clue that thankfully threw her a lifeline. 'This element provides the main component in teeth and bones.'

'Calcium. That's Calcium.' Jenna exclaimed quickly, her hasty answer furled by her relief and worry in equal measure; that last clue having appeared not a moment too soon. And perhaps a moment too late as well. If the next one proved as difficult they could be in trouble.

'Correct.' Noel said mostly as a formality than anything else. 'Good start.'

'The Nile is the most well known of this type of land formation.' Dylan called out.

'Delta. Easy.' Jenna replied with obvious relief to have gotten this one so easily. She just hoped it made up for the time lost on the first.

'Correct. That's two.'

'Famous sporting team connected with a cetacean mammal.' Dylan asked with a smile. He knew this one of course. And could easily have helped her get it. Yet it gave him a little thrill to just watch her guess as the clock ticked down.

'Errr.whatermmmWhat's a cetacean?' Jenna asked, this question having left her more than a little flustered as she noticed she had barely 90 seconds left. 'Oh..I don't know.the..ErrrToronto Blue Jays.'

'I won't go into how wrong that is.' Noel shook his head with good natured teasing. 'Another clue maybe?'

'Why not.' Jenna added, knowing she wouldn't get it without help.

'This team's mascot is closely related to a whale.' Dylan said, his grin growing as the clock leapt down to 60 seconds.

'Whale..dolphin? The Miami Dolphins?' Jenna asked hesitantly, her eyes lingering on the clock that seemed to have moved into double speed.

'That's three. Forty seconds left.' Noel reminded.

Jenna didn't really need reminding as Dylan read out the next clue with a grin that said he didn't expect her to get it. Which meant in another way she was certain to get it.

'Name of a famous 1980's dystopian manga.'

Give me a break. Jenna muttered in her head. That entire question utter gibberish to her. She knew about manga of course, but only that it was a comic. Which certainly wasn't enough to help her work out a particular one.

'I'd take that to mean you'd like another clue.' Noel nodded at the baffled look on Jenna's face.

Jenna only nodded with baited breath as the clock skipped down to 20 seconds, praying this clue was more helpful.

'The name of the Sushi chef voiced by George Takai in the Simpsons.' Dylan said with barely contained mirth, knowing as well as she did that Jenna would never get it in time.

'Miyagi.' Jenna desperately took a utter stab in the dark, throwing out the one Japanese name she could think off. It was a hasty utterance that became a high pitched shriek as with no warning the chamber around her filled first with a whoooing klaxon and then a gush of thick Gunge with barely a second between them as the primed tank released its load to the pull of gravity.

Time seemed to slow both for the audience and Jenna alike, that one second drawn out to a seeming eternity before the tank did exactly what it had been crafted and perfected to do. Unaware of how ultimately futile it would be, Jenna still tried to cover herself with her arms desperately thrown over her head. And while that worked for a second as the hastily released Gunge was flung out around her arms, that umbrella quickly faded to allow the thickly pouring stream to work its way through her impromptu shield to slip over her head and shoulders with an almost mocking free rein. Despite her arms and head already being soaked Jenna stayed in her hunched position, the poor young woman totally unprepared for the drop of bizarrely thick yet runny sludge Jenna couldn't help a shudder as it slipped both over and inside her, in hind sight anyway, disastrously loose shirt; her thin blouse and bra doing nothing to stop a great deal of it slopping over her bare breasts. Which might have been the reason for the goosebumps that rose on her arms and neck, not helped by the continuing bizarre feeling of the constant pour swirling from green to blue and back again in a glorious shift of colours which created a visual effect almost as pleasing as the sight of the gunging itself.

Whatever her original intentions, Jenna's once loose clothing was now anything but, the heavy and clinging fabric dragged down to sit snugly around her breasts, only the volume of the Gunge coating them preventing the cameras from getting a perfect view of the nipples the sheer fabric would utterly have failed to conceal. So tight against her were they that they were now no obstacle to the Gunge oozing around her lips and over her rear, flowing over the tight fabric with no resistance whatsoever.

Outside the tank, Dylan couldn't help a grin. While Jenna was pretty much unrecognisable even to him with the ongoing dump of the glorious thick slime rolling from her shoulders down to her hips and everything in between, he had to admit she had never looked more adorable than she did right now. The sheer volume of her gunging that already left her dripping on the goo despite the quarter of the tank that remained made this truly his fantasy come true; his eyes drinking in every detail of this experience he was never going to forget.

'Well..that was a close thing. A very good effort.' Noel said as she carefully slipped out in front of the still draining tank, taking great care not to block the final and much reduced trickle pouring steadily over Jenna's now raised head. 'And a very well deserved try. I'd love to give you another try, Jenna, but we are out of time for tonight. Don't forget we have the news up next followed by the 2nd thrilling Episode of Black Point. You won't want to miss that. And don't miss us next week. Until then, thank you and good night.'
