This first part is pretty light on the mess so far but it will get much better soon. This story is from a first person male view. That's personally my favorite point of view to read so I decided I'd try to write one. This is my first story so I'd appreciate feedback. Enjoy!

I sat backstage in a surprisingly nice dressing room. I heard the door open and a stagehand came in letting me know to come out onto the stage. I followed her out onto the main set to see a fairly large studio audience. The set was made up of all light yellow and blue colored tiles. In the center of the stage were 2 podiums with digital scoreboards on the front. Next to each podium were smaller chairs. The stagehand directed me to sit in one of the chairs. I then saw Marlee come across the stage and stand at the podium next to mine.
