Becky was worried as she waited in the wings to make her appearance. Not about the show, which was more popular than ever and was now being shown on Saturday evenings on national television. But rather that her new leotard she was wearing seemed awfully thin and one soaking was likely to render it transparent.

Being Gina's assistant and resident stooge, Becky had gotten used to pies, gunge and water being thrown at her. But exposing herself to the watching audience was a whole new level of humiliation that she was keen to avoid. Unfortunately, things rarely went Becky's way.

"And talking about my assistant..." Gina prompted.

As Becky took her cue and walked over to Gina, she was accompanied by enthusiastic applause from the studio audience. She acknowledged their support by flashing them a big smile before taking her place beside the show's host.

"So, we have a new time slot and a new channel, but do you know what's not changed?" Gina asked.

Becky shuck her head. However, she could guess what was about to happen. It was no great surprise when Gina revealed a cream pie which she had been hiding behind her back and smashed it into Becky's face.

"The mess!" Gina stated.

The audience erupted with laughter as Becky stood there once again with pie on her face. Well it's one way to make a living, she thought to herself.

Becky gave her face a good wash in between the opening skit and having to introduce the contestants. Unusually for the show, both contestants were male this time. Typically, the producers favoured attractive young women, which they claimed appealed more to the viewers.

So, Becky found herself escorting two young men over to meet Gina, which was a first. The audience reaction was slightly muted, but Gina seemed happy enough. Becky showed both contestants to their respective podiums before introducing them.

"This is Kenny and he's a student" Becky said.

Kenny seemed to be your typical nerd. Thin and spectacled, he was wearing short-sleeved shirt and corduroy trousers. Becky suspected he should do well with the general knowledge questions assuming he managed to keep his nerves. However, it was his opponent that Gina had her eyes upon.

"And this is Alex, who is a personal trainer" Becky announced.

To say Alex was fit, in both senses of the word, would be an understatement. He was tall with broad shoulders and great looking hair, and wearing joggers and a tight-fitting t-shirt which showed off his toned abs.

From reactions of some of the women in the audience it was clear that Gina wasn't the only person besotted with him. Becky instantly felt sorry for Kenny, she'd always had a thing for the underdog, often finding herself in that role herself.

"Let's get on with the round one" Gina declared.

Both contestants got their first and second questions correct. However, Becky noticed that Alex's questions appeared to be much easier than Kenny's. This proved to be true of the next set as well, as Kenny got his wrong and Becky had to give him a pie to the face. Alex got his question right and so escaped a forfeit.

Kenny's pieing seemed to have unnerved him somewhat and he got his next question wrong as well. This meant that Becky had to select another pie and smash it into his face. Whilst she might have felt sorry for him, she still had a job to do.

Alex got his fourth question right. By the time it was Kenny's turn he'd managed to recover his wits and answered the question correctly. Once again Alex got an easy question and answered it with confidence.

"I'm sorry but unfortunately that's wrong" Gina stated.

Becky quickly grabbed a pie and thrust it into Alex's surprised face. She gave it a good twist, to ensure full coverage before removing the now empty case. The audience laughed at the viciousness of Alex's forfeit, but Gina didn't seem to be so impressed with Becky's antics.

Both contestants got their final questions wrong and Becky delivered a pie to each of their faces. She then checked the scoreboard and read out the results.

"Kenny has three points, whilst Alex is a point ahead on four" Becky revealed.

During the break between rounds, whilst the audience were being entertained by a comedian, the stagehands replaced the contestant's podiums with a pair of clear booths. They also bought out half a dozen buckets filled with different coloured gunge which they placed next to the booths.

Once again Becky led Kenny and Alex out on to the studio. But before getting them to sit down in the booths, Gina interrupted her.

"After Becky's cruel treatment of both our poor contestants, I think it's only fair they get a chance for some payback" Gina said.

A couple of stagehands came out and forced Becky to sit in one of the booths. They then selected a bucket each and presented it to one of the contestants. Kenny walked over to the booth and gave Becky an apologetic shrug before pouring orange gunge over her head.

Alex took his bucket of blue gunge and instead stepped up to the front of the booth. Without a moment's hesitation he threw the contents of the bucket directly into Becky's face before stepping aside to allow the audience to witness her humiliation. The gunge coated her leotard showing off her curves but luckily nothing else.

"Now on to round two, where the points are worth double" Gina announced.

Becky got out of the booth still dripping gunge as she did so. Kenny got into the one she'd just vacated, which meant he got a wet bum as he sat down on the ready splattered seat. Alex meanwhile took his place in the other booth.

Gina asked Kenny his first question, which he got wrong. Becky picked up a bucket of green gunge and after giving him a sympathetic smile, emptied it over his head. Alex got his first question right giving him a commanding lead over his fellow contestant.

Luckily for Kenny he got his next question correct and avoided a further gunging. Alex wasn't so unfortunate, and Becky enjoyed picking up a bucket of yellow gunge and pouring it slowly all over him as he sat in the booth.

"And now the final set of questions" Gina declared.

Once again Kenny got his question right, so it all rested on Alex. Gina asked the final question, which once again Becky thought was much simpler than their usual standard. However, despite the ease of the question it was clear that he didn't know the answer and just erred and ummed.

Gina waited patiently for him to respond but when the audience began to jeer, she acknowledged he'd ran out of time and lost the round and more importantly the game. Kenny celebrated his win whilst Alex sat there looking dejected.

"Oh, I almost forgot!" Becky said.

And with that Becky picked up a bucket filled with pink gunge and positioned herself in front of Alex's booth. She took great delight, as did the audience, in throwing the gunge into his face as Alex had done to her earlier.

For the final part of the show the booths were removed from the studio and a giant pool was put in their place. The pool was filled with a horrible looking brown sludge and a seat was suspended directly above it.

Becky had cleaned herself up slightly although her leotard was still splattered with orange and blue stains. Likewise, the two contestants had gotten cleaned up, although for Alex that was only going to be a temporary situation. As a pair of stagehands lead Alex to the seat above the pool, Becky took Kenny over to stand beside Gina.

"We can't have you looking like that!" Gina exclaimed, looking at Becky's costume.

Without warning one of the stagehands appeared behind Becky and emptied a bucket of cold water over her. The water instantly turned her leotard see-through, briefly revealing her boobs to the watching audience before she managed to cover them with her crossed arms.

"So, what has Kenny won?" Gina prompted Becky.

"He's won a two-week vacation to Australia" Becky replied.

Kenny celebrated his win by shouting and jumping around in joy. Becky would have joined in with him, but she was keen to maintain what little dignity she had left. She kept herself covered as the audience's focus changed to Alex still suspended above the pool.

"Would you care to do the honours?" Gina asked Becky.

Becky was surprised at Gina's offer, but after Alex's behaviour earlier in the show she was only too happy to accept. Moving over to the pool she reached up and took a firm hold of the nearby chain before giving it a good pull.

Alex plunged into the pool, submerging below the surface before emerging moments later completely covered in sludge. Becky chuckled to see him so debased although was slightly confused by the audience's reaction, who seemed to be whistling and cheering rather than laughing.

"You might want to cover up, dear" Gina said smirking.

Becky realised she'd left herself exposed when pulling the chain and that both the studio audience and the thousands watching at home had seen more of her than she'd have liked. Wrapping her arms around her chest she quickly made her way from the studio.
