It was a few weeks after the beginning of the semester, and Anna was moving right along through her freshman year. She had brought almost all of her clothes from home and fully expected that most of them wouldn't make it back home. Included in that was her prom dresses from junior and senior year of high school, a collection of at least 30 running shoes, sandals, heels, flats, and boots, jackets, hoodies, and basically anything you could think of. At the end of the night, everyone can pay money and cover me in whatever food or whatever is left. I'll make myself look really pretty, do my hair, makeup, nails, everything, and we'll let everyone go crazy." Hanna smiled and squealed "I LOVE IT. You sure you want to ruin a dress though?" Anna nodded. She wasn't ever going to wear it again, so why not? She could feel herself getting wet just thinking about it. So it was decided, the date would be in about a month. The next few weeks flew by. The dinner was to be on Saturday night. They rented out a small banquet hall in town, sold tickets, and quickly had reached their fundraising goal. Hanna could tell there were still some nerves there, and took her hands and held Anna's face up. "Alright, I'm gonna go make sure it's time. I'll text you when to come in the door. But relax first. Hanna boasted, which drew another round of applause. "Alright, let's get the fun started. We actually have a special guest to pour the first bowl. It's Anna's roommate!" Katie smiled and got up from her table, handing Hanna a bill, and Hanna returned with a tray of something. "Oh no! Did she pay $10??" Anna thought to herself. Hanna picked up the mic again and said "She's given $10 for a tray of beans. Let's count it down everyone!" Katie took her place next to Anna and whispered "I'm so sorry, but this is going to be fun!" to which Anna smiled and nodded back. The crowd began counting down from 10.

Katie turned the tray upside down over Anna's head, and the mess quickly covered the majority of the dress, to a cheering crowd. She picked up her phone and took a picture, to complete the before and after set. The door opened, and Hanna walked in. Anna smiled and said "so, we did pretty good tonight, didn't we?" Katie looked a bit overwhelmed with the newly revealed secrets of her roommate, and she sat back in her desk chair and said "huh." Anna just sat there, not knowing what to say or do. After a minute, Katie said "So, what would it take for you to show me what it's like?" Anna smiled and asked if she was sure, Katie nodded yes and smiled, and Anna turned towards Katie's closet.
