From July 23rd YouTube changed the terms regarding pre-2017 vids which were marked as ''unlisted''. These now list as ''private'' as per this: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/9230970?hl=en Note that there is an opt-out for those wanting to keep their older vids as ''unlisted'' so that others still have a chance of seeing them.
FYI Youtube have also just changed their Age Gating policies and systems as well, that place an Age Gate on certain videos that they feel are too sexy to be seen by people who are under 18. When they Age Gate a video it means it cannot be seen by anyone who is not logged in and registered with Google and confirms that they are over 18. It also means that Age Gated videos cannot be pasted into external websites (such as this one) and external blog sites. You will see a blank screen that forces you to go back to Youtube and watch it exclusively on their site.
Age Gate videos are "de-monetized" for content creators and anybody who has Age Gated videos on their channel is rejected and denied the ability to monetize his channel (I know because I applied twice and was rejected twice) -- but the Youtube hypocrisy is that while they do not allow you to monetize if you have Age Gated videos, their own Terms of Service grants Youtube the right to run ads against your videos. So, while they deny the content creator they can and do run ads against your content and grab that money for themselves.
They have just created new scanning programs that are scanning all the old videos in your Youtube channels, and they are now retroactively Age Gating all these old videos as well.
Sadly this is becoming a major assault on the wam culture, because if you post even the most innocent looking wam video that has no sexual content or nudity and no touching, but merely shows a fully clothed girl getting pied on the face or in the bath in her jeans, this innocent content is now either being Age Gated (if you are lucky) and in some cases deleted and you get a strike on your account with the threat of your channel being deleted (as has happened to me several times).
The irony is, they are not applying the same standards to mainstream Youtube creators, only those who they deem are "suggestive" creators" ...because today Youtube sent me a message say that they have done a new scan of my old videos and up to 50% of my old Youtubes are now Age Gated, while thousands of other mainstream creators are allowed to post the same kinds of innocent wet and messy videos, and they do not get Age Gated or deleted, as mine often do.
I have "tested" their hypocrisy because whenever I post a video of 1 girl in the mud, it immediately gets Age Gated in minutes by Youtube age gating scanner systems.....BUT.....when I posted TWO girls KISSING in the mud at the very same location, the video stays online and does NOT get age gated.....I guess they coded their bot programs to give a free pass to lesbian kissing scenes, because YT is afraid to upset the LGBTQ community and wishes to promote lesbianism . So....it is NOT OK to post videos of 1 girl enjoying herself in the mud on her own, but it is perfectly OK to give a pass to 2 lesbians kissing and touching each other in the mud.
The Geniuses at Youtube have now managed to create a bot program that can read the mind of the content creator, so they can read our minds and flag your channel if they deem your content has the "intent" to be sexually suggestive. So it's not your actual content that they apply their rules to, it's the "intent" of your video media that they are now assessing. They are able to determine which wet and messy videos are purely for entertainment and which ones they feel are posted to sexually arouse the viewer.
This is now becoming like the dystopian society depicted in the movie "Minority Report", where the cops can prosecute you not for the crimes you actually commit, but because they can read your minds and preemptively prosecute you for what they perceive are your intentions.
Sadly, the way Youtube is now working, if you are deemed by them to be a mainstream content creator then you can post wet ad messy content freely, but once they flag your account and deem you to have intentions to arouse your audience, once you are flagged then they on your back all the time.
I keep telling my models --- please learn to sing --- because music videos and singers can post all kinds of sexually arousing content ....but creators like me cannot do the same thing.

Everything you are saying is just great arguments for why YouTube should have the policies they have.
Oh no! They've correctly identified that you, a sexually suggestive creator, are in fact a sexually suggestive creator even though you don't wanna be considered one and other people who aren't sexually suggestive creators aren't considered sexually suggestive creators.

I never said I was not a suggestive creator. What I am saying is that there is a double standard with Youtube's Age Gating policies, i.e. they apply Age Gating in an inconsistent way and they only Age Gate "some" Fetish Producers, while they allow dozens of other Wam Fetish producers a free pass and do not Age Gate their media at all.
FYI there are dozens of Wam Producers who use this forum to promote their sexually suggestive media here and on Youtube yet they are not flagged and Age Gated the way my channel is targetted. Here is a typical example of a posting today from another Fetish WAM producer...and none of the videos in their channel have been flagged and Age Gated...
Yes, Youtube may have identified me correctly as a Fetish Producer, all I am saying is that dozens of other Fetish Producers who also produce sexually suggestive media are not flagged at all.
100% of all Producers who use this forum are producing sexually suggestive media, because mainstream wet and messy comedy producers do not use an X rated Fetish Forum to promote their media. So defacto all Producers who use UMD and Youtube should be treated the same way on Youtube, but they are not. Some get flagged and the majority seem to skate freely, so it is not a fair playing field....e.g. when your videos get Age Gated on Youtube, your views decline by 50-60% and you are denied access to join the Youtube Partner program, whereas I can point to dozens of wam producers who produce media like mine and they are not Age Gated and are allowed to monetize their YT channels.
I have no problem with YT rules and policies, but they need to be applied consistently and fairly and should not penalize just some content creators while letting the majority of other wam producers skate freely for posting the same kind of content.
I guess it is like cops who issue tickets to speeders on the highway. They only catch less than 5% of speeders and the other 95% get away with speeding.
But sooner or later Youtube programmers are going wise up and create a bot program that does what the Patreon site has recently done to me....i.e. Patreon now uses Google Analytics to trace all your back links and has set up a database of known porn sites like Clips4sale and UMD and I just got flagged and suspended by Patreon because they saw incoming traffic coming to my Patreon channel from UMD.net and they have now classified UMD.net as a banned porn site. Once Youtube start doing what Patreon is now doing, and tracking your back links, then any content creator who posts a promotion on UMD is going to be traced by Youtube and flagged accordingly. Thankfully Youtube is not currently doing a trace on your back links, but Patreon are now doing this because they already told me that unless I remove any links to my Patreon coming from the UMD forum, then I will continue to be suspended.

Welcome to the world of Big Brother
As I have two adult Patreons, I can tell you that when they're doing is by far not new. They started it years back when they banned porn. After that, a few porn creators tried to be sneaky by posting vanilla content but linking to and from their porn channels.
It just takes Patreon a while to get around to everyone. Also, you can fight them. I have, and I have won. I've won twice in fact. I'm linking from a website I created that has the exact same content as I do in my Patreon. They tried to tell me that wasn't allowed. I said "no, per your TOS I cannot link to or from any site where the content is not allowed." I won that one.
Next, they tried telling me I couldn't post my Twitter 'cause it was adult. I said "yes, but it does not include anything that's not allowed on Patreon, so per your own TOS that's allowed. I won that one too.
You were not going to win the UMD issue since this place hosts content that's not allowed on Patreon so you were indeed in violation of their rules.
Oh no! They've correctly identified that you, a sexually suggestive creator, are in fact a sexually suggestive creator even though you don't wanna be considered one and other people who aren't sexually suggestive creators aren't considered sexually suggestive creators.
We are looking for a system of fairness. YouTube has the 18+ designation for videos that are adult in nature, yet not porn.
Instagram allows celebrities to show full nipple. That's specially against their TOS. Yes any other women would have their account yanked. That's not a system of fairness. The rules should apply to everyone or no one.
Youtube allows flat out porn accounts: https://www.youtube.com/c/pokeparodytv/videos this is a 100% pure porn channel run by Reality Kings. 756K subscribers and a 100% blatant violation of YouTube's "sexual in nature" policy.
Remember just blurring out the sex parts or nude parts is still a violation. You cannot post sexually suggestive content.
So look at that channel and please tell me how that's still up. And someone upload a pie video and their account gets suspended? Yeah...right.
Here's what youtube is doing that producers like myself thing is unfair. The speed limit is 60 and a cop is on the side of the road with radar. 30 cars pass him doing 100 miles per hour but he pulls you over and gives you a ticket for doing 61.

Sound stupid? That's what's going on.
Or, perhaps a 3 Stooges analogy is warranted, i.e. Youtube are holding The Sword of Damocles over our heads.
Uploading to Youtube these days is like playing Russian Roulette and walking on eggshells, because you never know when their hammer will drop and what they will deem to be sexually suggestive and Age Gated and what they will deem to delete and apply strikes to your channel.
I used to think this was all about building up a base of subscribers. The more I had = the more members I'd drive to my Patreons. However, that's not really the case. Most subscribers just wanted freebies. So I switched my strategy to having a lot of youtube accounts and spread out my uploads. It's still driving the exact same amount of traffic but now I don't have to risk having an account pulled and I have to start from scratch.
I do get accounts yanked from time to time. I don't care. In the time it takes for YT to yank an account I can have a replacement up and running in 5 minutes.
They can fuck off.
Note: They consider sexual content to be any content where the intent is to cause arousal. If they stayed true to that, they'd yank 90% of all new music videos.

I have a smilar strategy. As I have had 3 YT channels deleted in the past, I am now a bit wiser, because before did not keep backups of my uploaded clips. But now I have backups and have 2 channels that I refer to as Channel 1 and Channel 2, and whenever I have too many strikes and am on the verge of being deleted I put channel 1 into hibernation for the next 3 months, to let the strikes expire, and I immediately switch over to upload to channel 2. Also I now keep backups of all my clips on channels 1 and 2, so if they delete both of them, then I can set up a channel 3 in only a couple of hours.
The video pirates like to play the fairground game of "Wack a Mole" with me, and whatever media of mine is stolen and I file takedown requests, it is futile because then the pirates will simply wait a few days and reupload it again. Well....I can play Wack A Mole as well, and if YT delete one channel I can easily set it up again in a few hours. . You right when you say there is no correlation between the number of subscribers you build up on Youtube and other Social Media platforms and the amount of "conversions" you can turn into Patreon supporters. The Onlyfans platform have a income calculator meter on their site that says you add all your followers and subscribers, then their auto calculator tells you your estimated income based 3% to 5% of your followers who will support you on Onlyfans. This is pure fantasy, because if I add up all the subscribers and followers I have on YT, Twitter and Facebook my Patreon conversion ratio is currently only 0.4% -- so I have a lot of dead wood.
But it is good to know that Youtube developers are so smart these days, that they are able to read your mind and pre-judge what your "intent" is. If "intent" was banned 2 million years ago when Homo Sapiens first invented a way to make fire, then fire would have been banned because some puritan would have decreed that the intent of fire is so that man could see naked women at night !!
I think your ratio is pretty spot on. When my last channel got yanked I had 50,000 subscribers and end each month with 2,600 members. I know Patron loves to tell new creators that they can expect 3% to even 5% social media conversion, which is ridiculous and laughable.
