That's where we get our slime too. It is great stuff. But shipping to the states is super expensive. It would be nice if there was another supplier in the US that sells this stuff or very similar so we dont have to pay for that shipping. Anybody have alternatives?
1/4 cup makes about a gallon of slime, this has been my go to wam supply for 6-8 years now. Super easy to mix, with warm water, no smell, you can add poster paint to you water before mixing in.
A 10lbs pale will let you fill your bathtub with sllme 6+ times at least.

The messy supplies MS gunge has, in my experience, been the easiest to mix and produced the most consistent result. The shipping cost sucks, but it's been worth it to me so that I know what I'm getting.
I might check out the HEC from the chemistry store, though. That's a pretty good price if you buy 5 lbs or so.
This is great information. Do you have examples of what you've made with this?
Not the same person, but almost every slime scene on all of my sites (see the ones in my signature) has used either methylcellulose or hydroxyethylcellulose from chemistrystore.com. Been buying from them for 17 years. I started out using food coloring, but that gets expensive and stains a lot. Been using Tempra paints for a decade or more.
I think I have most of my slime scenes on wamorama.com
EDIT: just realized a lot of the stores in my sig are not slime-relevant Here are the main ones along with wamorama
@babaslimes : Sadly I dont take any pictures or video in my personal sessions. Thats rule #1 with Ms. Guevara.. good news is it is used by many producers SoundGuy mentionned a few of is sites, but there are others. The great thing with hydromethyl is you can get the consistency you want.. however you need to add the right amount slowly and right at the beginning of you stirring the pale. If you add some powder once the gelification starts it will cause lumps to form.. it probably takes less than 5 min to start forming the slime.
Also.. adding tempra paint works really well.. I've made some black slime that looked like slippery tar

Did minor experiments with food coloring but we needed huge quantities. We began with concrete dye on MPVBleck and then swtiched to Tempra paints as well. Yeah, that's the way to do it.

Is that what you used for the mud pit? This stuff from the chemistry store and tempra paint? I always wondered how you made that mud.

Without giving away their trade secrets, the oobleck is a non-newtonian fluid if you mean that stuff in particular. You usually need something like corn starch to achieve that effect.

No, MPVBleck was a proprietary mix. Just agreeing with the excellent advice on coloring.

The shipping does suck but what you can do with it?? its worth every penny. we have bucketed it back up and re used it, kept it in a pool and ariel played in it. its rad. all consistencies, all colors AND its guaranteed you cant fuck it up. like for real. i have messed with many many different types of methyl and some of them? i have had to work on for DAYS to get it how i need it. bc i fucked up sifting it through a friggin sifter or poured it too fast....just lame. this is add water and mix. so easy. and stores well for other use! no offense to soundguy i have never tried his!

all your mud is so cool. i bought some of the powder mud and mixed it and i did not like the color either so i added some black washable paint. it turned it a dark green! hahah! i did not have enough so the underlying tones of deep green came out! it was still fun and slippery and cool but yeah....i wish i would have had more before shooting! oh well, lesson learned!

yo man, hook me up!!! i wanna try it out!
The foolproof-ness of the MS gunge is really important for me, as I am a complete idiot and will fuck up anything that's too complicated. Also it's enough work to clean up slime afterwards. It's nice to not have to work so hard on the front end.

Ok, no problem.
I have some leftover here in Seattle from the days when the Chem Store sold methylcellulose. (They don't sell it there anymore) I guess everyone switched to ethyl because it's "food grade" (it's an ingredient in fondant I think) I have 5 lbs of ethylcellulose down in Vegas and after more than a year, I'm finally headed back down there next week. Email me so I remember.
I also have a couple pounds of polyox, but you don't want that. It's a royal bitch to mix and even the slightest miscalculation ends up with consistency issues. See the attached pics. It's only somewhat water-soluble, so getting it out of the model's hair afterwards was...interesting
