What I would like: Just a chat. Comments on my comments. Ideas about sessions. Help on projects. Any assistance I can lend. Normal chatting!
What I tend to get: "How are you?", "hello...fine, you?", "Moist, what are you wearing?" Some boilerplate comment repeated every 6 months. "Hello", "Hello"....*nothing due to seeing I'm a bloke maybe?*
Could be worse, at least they don't threaten and insult me
I'm curious about this too. I generally have chat turned off because on the few occasions I've chatted the following has happened.
- Abrupt chat box opening from someone I've never encountered anywhere on the forum before. - Awkward silence after straightforward answering a question - Really random small talk - Close ended questions meant to be open ended "Hey do you want to get messy" - "not right now, making dinner"
I'm not the best conversationalist, but I didn't really seem to encounter this in personal meetings with people. Maybe it's just the nature of online chat?
I usually talk about recent messy experiences. However, it's online chat, so I don't expect a quick response - people are usually doing other things while chatting online.
These days I usually receive random solicitations from men, compliments about art, or conversations about ethics or psychology. Conversations that I initiate rarely get past small talk.
I've had numerous exchanges, sometimes quite lengthy, exchanging a scenario or fantasy. Each person adding the next scene, if you like, as we go along. This can be great fun and its all in the imagination, so the person can be trans/m/f, we all have our daydreams. Great fun. I like writing stories, so these exchanges are really an interactive story.
