Once in a blue moon I get a first hit like this. Not the setup, or the hit itself, or the coverage.... But just the fact that the model doesn't close her eyes or "anticipate" in any way, until the last possible (milli)second.

Just so we're clear, this has nothing to do with me. It's not something you can teach or "train" someone to do. It's a purely natural instinct. Anyway, as many models as I've worked with, this happens so rarely I figured it was worth its own post. If you've got other examples I'd love to see!

Yeah, I've been doing the "slow roll (out)" for a while now. The RAW HD Store gets the clips early, then when I'm done grabbing stills and doing the edits, I announce the scenes officially. I love my early-bird customers too! In a weird way it's the "purest" way to watch a scene, you literally know nothing about it beyond a still before watching. Reminds me of the (very) old days.....

Thanks guys! FTR finding the gorgeous girls isn't hard.... There are PLENTY of great ones out there! Finding the ones that can actually do WAM.... That's a bit trickier.

I really thought Scarlet was gonna be a no-go, as she just had that very "proper" look and attitude that didn't seem to jive with getting super messy. Turns out she was totally down for it! I'm actually amazed in hindsight by how messy both scenes got, but she turned out to be totally fine with everything and was actually reaching out to shoot again right away! (Pre-CV of course...)

I'm the opposite, I love that moment of anxious anticipation. One of my favourite little moments from a scene of yours, Rich, was during a two girl scene, with Taylor (I think) and her friend with the dark dark hair. It's halfway through the scene, they've both been hit multiple times already. You had them both a pie. The friend gets Taylor first. Taylor, now blind, fumbles around trying to line up her retaliatory strike by holding the back of her friend's head. She's got this great expression of dread and resignation on her face.

I always find it interesting that WAM has so many different little niches. That's just me. I'm sure that - for a producer - it must be maddening.

I picked up this scene and it's PHENOMENAL at many levels! What rich said about that crucial first hit is true...but also along the same lines, the model keeps fidgeting and tugging on her impossibly short dress, which I find really sexy. She might be a first timer but she sells the shock and humiliation angle.

This girl is my new fave SS model! She's absolutely gorgeous .

The pink dress scene is great as well. What I noticed on this one is she wears next to no makeup and still looks glamorous and beautiful facially. She takes cakes and pies in that one. The second cake hit, Rich goes full Steve Aoki on her.

Buy these scenes! Highly recommend !
