More pics... FYI the website will NOT be updated until Wed, so this is the only place to see these (for now).
Nichole REALLY loosens up in this one, for those who don't want the "diva" character. Does she still give attitude? Yes, but that's our Nichole. Does her hair get plastered with mess? Yes, hair fans, it does!
Rich, what do you think the situation with her hair was, do you think she honestly believed that ridiculous Halloween store wig really looked better than her real hair, or she was just using it as a shower cap type thing?
Honestly, I really think she didn't think the wig looked as bad as it did. (She still doesn't.) I don't think she minded the "fakeness" of it.
But also, I think she was really concerned about damage to her hair over the course of 5-6 scenes & showers. (Wound up being 4 in the end.) Maybe she was being overly cautious, or maybe it might've genuinely messed up her hair. Who knows.
Anyway. The wig was trashed after 3 scenes so she was more inclined to go with her natural hair... Which DOES look fine, all things considered. She didn't seem to have any issues either. We've already agreed that if (when?) she comes back, she'll go wig-free throughout, and if we shoot less, that's a reasonable trade-off.
Well Rich. Im guessing that scenes and showers will dry the hair out a bit...but ruin it? Tell me if you have seen hair ruined. Id be surprised. I think she was being over cautious.
I've actually heard a LOT of hair "nightmare" stories over the years... I think some of it comes down to how high-maintenance the model is, but a lot of it is simply differing hair textures & lengths.
For instance: Toshia could be camera-ready, hair and everything, in 20 minutes or less. Her hair dried REALLY quick. Then I've had models who take an hour and their hair still looks wet. And don't get me started on extensions... I had an issue all the way back in SS50/51 with Marissa! By Day 2 I was only using "pastel colors" for the slime and sliming her in the front, avoiding as much hair as possible.
But even so, I loved that shoot. And it sold incredibly well. I think a lot of folks don't care to know how the sausage gets made... They just wanna see the end product. But for the rest... This Nichole shoot has definitely been inside baseball.
