As someone suggested in an earlier thread, this is the moment where SlapstickStuff "hit its stride." Or, more precisely, I found a super professional model: Meg, who would come back for several volumes over the years, including the one where she wrecked poor Eden hilariously. She was the first woman to suggest that MAYBE I should carve out a little more time in the shoot.... and let the models dry their hair and redo their makeup between scenes?? Great advice! Been following it ever since.
Meg had some great moments in SS22/23, but one of my personal faves from this era is the woman who never returned: SS24 Jennifer. Just an absolute delight. Her personality absolutely came through in every scene, but never more than the huge-selling "Pied On E!" clip.... AKA Scene 3, where she looks great in a bikini and basically just ad-libs stuff as I fling pies at her over and over. (Yes we were in Charleston, but sadly the "beach" was just a construction site near the hotel. She would hop in my car, get covered in pies, then towel off and we'd drive back to the hotel for a proper shower!) Jen and I stayed friends... and even went snowboarding together! But never did a 2nd shoot. She wound up moving away and also having a kid. (SlapstickStuff Bingo, basically.) She's still one of the great one-and-dones... and got a kickass trailer too! And finally... My favorite Deana volume, SS25. AKA the one where I came to her apartment complex and we just shot scenes in the common area. Sometimes we got caught in the rain (Scene 3).... and sometimes her friend Carrie would "assist" by smashing pies in her face or assisting in a double sliming. (This is the same girl who nailed her in SS14 too, if you're keeping score!) Is Scene One one of the great solo slime scenes in SS history? Well, it's one of the best-selling ones for sure! The grand champ is coming soon....

Well, Jennifer is one of my faves (recently purchased the Jen with Bobby in her dorm room skit because she looked so cute in it), and I did appreciate the De La Soul shout out. RIP Trugoy the Dove
Charleston?! We just barely missed each other... well by about 5 years anyway . It feels pretty remote or removed from everybody else over here sometimes, with everyone either in the UK, the northeast, or west coast anyway.
I'm glad you got to these because #25 is a personal favorite. It's been a major source for inspiration and her hair is awesone in that one. It's perfect with whatever you mixed up.
