Hey folks, Since its appearance with Jen & Christine in SS100 almost five years ago, the "I Insist" scenario has laid dormant. Until now. It just seemed like the perfect time to get Jen & Gin beyond messy. No, really. I INSIST!!!
A classic returns with 32% new material! Grab the unedited footage now... And get ALL the "Complete" clips from Jen & Gin for just $13.99 this weekend!
Rich, it looks like you've outdone yourself yet again. Spectacular!
No offense, but it's almost impossible to believe that with work like this, you are Slapstick Stuff's hottest-selling model.
Realistically, that's probably because, as some fans of male pies have reported (kittenish was a recent one and there have been a few others) there's a dearth of really well-made male pie videos. (Admittedly, I'm taking the word of just a few people on this, since I don't pay any attention to that market.) Whereas on the female end of things, there is a great deal more competition, although certainly very few wam producers can hope to compete with your combination of high production values, beautiful models, and lavishly applied mess.
And yeah PM, it's weird... The best-selling scene from this whole shoot remains (and probably will be) the short one we did where the girls stay clean and *I* get messy. That's actually fine as it helps to make the whole shoot profitable, but you're probably right that there are other factors involved. Some is the dearth of male-centric mess scenes with women doing the messing (most male WAM scenes tend to be self WAM I've noticed).... Some is just the glut of female-centric scenes from a TON of producers, myself included.
Another odd factoid: Ginger's first slingshot scene, from SS121, has outsold ALL the scenes from SS148 combined! But I wouldn't read much into that beyond timing. I think any of these SS148 clips, released in 2013 as opposed to 2015, would've sold 2-4 times what they're selling now. That's just the state of the market, for better or worse.
ANYWAY. Enough inside baseball. I'm still bravely (stupidly?) forging ahead with a lot of new shoots and new models, because for me that's exciting. I'm sitting on enough footage to release well into 2016, but I still get a rush with a new shoot and (especially) a brand-new model who turns out to be great. I actually get antsy when I go a month or more without filming anything!!
OK, for those still reading... Some foot pics! I was hoping the girls would lift their feet more after hits, and Jen did (somewhat), but there's still some good "sole shots" in the Medium & Wide angles.

So is that first slingshot scene Ginger's all-time best seller?
I'm curious about the sales curve of returning models in general. Of course, the 2015 sales data is heavily skewed by the overall market downturn, but you've had some models return frequently since pretty early on in your history, Rich. So obviously, some models must have been able to sell well over the course of mutliple volumes, or you likely wouldn't have brought them back for third, fourth, fifth, etc. shoots. (Unless you just really thought they did excellent work, as you said was the case with Shelly's many returns.) But in general, excepting this past year, have returning models tended to maintain their sales levels over multiple volumes? I know the answer must vary from one model to the next, but what has been the overall trend before the recently bad WAM economy?
I ask this because I find it pretty curious that your one 2015 volume to strongly buck the general downward trend in sales (at least so far as we've heard you mention) featured a brand new model, Breanna, and not the seemingly no-fail combination of two of your most popular models ever.
Returning models are, honestly, a crapshoot. Starting with SS15 Ashley, who had my all-time-best-selling scene for years... But SS29 was a bad seller by comparison, and SS52 sold so poorly she never came back. Lil' Amber (SS36) sold worse the second time. Jill's sales were basically whoever she was with, so those went up and down.
But beyond that... Deana sold pretty consistently, as did Nikki. Toshia sold consistently throughout. Lyndsay actually sold great after being gone for years. (HD might've helped.) Ginger's best-selling scene was actually the nurse one with Cassandra from SS102, though the slingshot one sold great too.
As for 2015... Angie (new model) has been the biggest seller by some distance. Breana was a nice surprise too. So both of them had solo scenes that OUTSOLD two-girl scenes with returning models (Carrie & Jen/Gin). If nothing else, that's really making me reconsider doing regular 2-girl shoots... which are ALWAYS expensive but used to sell pretty well, until 2015.
But of course, the flipside of new models is that my two WORST-selling shoots (and it's not even close) were two other brand-new models, Nichole and Aaliyah. So, basically... Returning models selling well is a coin flip. New models selling well is... A coin flip.
I have to assume that other producers either have consistent sales with returning models, or they have some sales attrition but they stick with the models for consistency & ease of shooting. (Which is definitely my case with Shelly.) I mean, Ariel has basically used the same models for a decade, and the bulk of MG's catalog is the four L's (Liz, Lane, Lexi, and Leah). Lenny had a handful he relied on for years too.

Anyway, more inside baseball.
Trying to make sense of all this. I'm a finance guy so, shockingly, I love hearing Rich's sales analysis. Several comments if I may indulge myself:
1) Jen and Ginger are both WOW! 2) There's one purple slingshot scene, I think where she gives it to another girl along with Rich, where from many angles, the girl looks completely naked. And, like all of Rich's models, she's hot. Really hot. And angularly naked. I have to think that's a best seller because even knowing Rich is PG I kept thinking it was R rated. Rich, is this in fact a best seller? 3) Some people want to be wealthier. Some want to be taller. Some want a giant dong. I'm married, kids, healthy, stable, blah, blah, blah. I'd trade a lot to get to recruit hot, scantily clad girls, and get to hit them with pies. What an epic life! Rich, when are you running your pseudo fantasy baseball camp where, in lieu of hitting a pitch from Nolan Ryan, dudes pay to party in Buckhead and get to mess a bunch of hot southern girls?
Yes, I realize item 3 would never probably garner enough sales to make it happen.
Zan said: Do you happen to do scenes in normal clothes still? or is it all mostly costumes and bikinis these days?
It just depends. Usually less skin=More sales but not always? Some of the scenes below really connected and some... did not.
I barely do costumes anymore unless you count bunny ears or a chef's hat or something like that. Costumes just don't seem to sell very well at all now.
JJ, I sadly have no plans to open a SlapstickStuff fantasy camp... But I'll let you know if that changes!
Are you talking about Scene 1 from this video, with Ginger in the purple slingshot? (See below.) That one sold well, but not nearly like her (solo) (red) slingshot clip from SS121, even though that one was priced higher. Maybe no second model? Red not purple? More producer in the scene? The mind boggles...
OK... Some GIFs to hopefully encourage some sales! Pretty good interplay with these two and a distinct lack of wiping, which is pretty awesome (and rare).
And just to clarify, this scene IS 100% new. I was joking that the script itself had 68% recycled jokes. Heh.
