As you may or may not be aware, I haven't been posting much over the last few months. I've been back to school (well, college) persuing a new career in Animal Care.
Well, school is now out for summer and I can get back to some sort or normality - whatever that is lol! I'm looking at holding another sploshing event at Townhouse International in Birkenhead, which is open to anyone who wants to have some fun, get pied, get gunged and play silly games! Last year's event was a great success and everyone had a great time.
So the plan this year is to hold a Splunch in Liverpool on the 2nd September (details tbc) and then on the Sunday we have the sploshing. Nothing has been set in stone yet, but the cost for the club hire last year was £150, which broke down to about £25 pp.
I would be grateful for any feedback regarding attendance - I know a LSG is due for September also, but this might appeal to those who cannot make it. Any sensible feedback is much appreciated.
It's been far too long since I got messy and caught up with friends.
It would be nice to have something up north, to make it cheaper than going to London (and hopefully on a day that I can get off work). I didn't go last time but would be interested this time.
Great to hear your running this again Jo. Let me know if you need any gunge and I'll provide a great price for you. If it wasn't so far I'd bring the Gunge Tank or even Dunk Tank but guessing there isn't really room for that.

I appear to be off that weekend, I was thinking of leaving the country but this sounds a much better time. I'd love to come along and I will certainly buy a ticket if I can get one.
I visited townhouse for a rope event a year or so back and it's a fabulous place. I'm going to see if I can find a good hotel.

Birkenhead has both Premier Inn and Travel lodge close to THI, as well as countless places over in Liverpool or elsewhere on the wirral..
Premier Inn was alright last time, Google of course gave walking directions down roads you can't walk down of course but it wasn't too hard to get there. Indeed with my navigational record I think I earned points for remembering how to get to Townhouse from the station!

The stretchy stuff is good. Its similar to what you used with us before but we've adapted it to give a more fluffy feel.
Don't order through ebay, let me know what you need and I'll sort you out a really good price.
