Funny question. I had a girlfriend with dreadlocks. She was planning to shave her head for her 30th bday so shortly before that we did WAM play with house paint, since she was going to cut it off anyway... as it turned out, we didn't have any trouble washing it out completely.

Make sure everything is washed out completely and dry... moldy dreads do not sound fun( and would stink to high hell). Though moldy dreads sounds like a good reggae band name....

I actually saw them once. They opened for the Rotten Afros.
