Microsoft have announced today that Skype will be retired in May. I think this is likely to affect many of us in this community, both on a day to day basis, but also because we use it for online wam contacts and webcam play. What will you (and others) start using instead, as it's going to make a considerable upheavel for online fun.
Whoa... Skype still exists?!!?! I figured it had gone the way of AOL instant messenger a long time ago I was certain by now that everybody was using FaceTime, WebEX, or Zoom (thank you pandemic) for video conferencing. Personally I prefer FaceTime because it's end to end encrypted and works on all of my apple devices and recently they started extending FaceTime links so that it can be used with non-apple devices too.

I was surprised too, but some of my clients love it over Zoom. Best break the news to them.
