Just a piece of information from personal observation and speaking to other producers over the years. Those who post on forums saying they want to see things often don't buy things. About the worst thing you can do in my opinion is be guided too much by public opinon else you end up making videos tailored to the tastes of a vocal few that a bought by next to no-one. If you think an idea is worth doing, do it! You may have to gamble but its you taking the risk so you make the decision. If you don't think it will work then don't do it. Don't sit around waiting for 15 people to give you approval as chances are even if you do only 5 of those people would buy it.
What bosunbob said. Saying you want something and buying it are two very different things.
Looking at your picture and concept that looks like the kind of video I'd enjoy, but until you make it, set a price, share some vidcaps etc I can't really tell and, even if I love it, I may not be able to buy it for a week or two.
