As far as I know, this is the only existing version of the entire pie fight. I believe Rich from SlapstickStuff was the one who posted it, and I have no idea how he was able to come across such rare footage from an extremely obscure film.
In Brazil, this movie was exibited by SBT(the TV station which broadcasts PoR) in around 1999/2002. Exibited at least 5 or 6 times by year. If I knew this movie would get so rare, I would had recorded It. Since then, It was no longer broadcasted.

Yep, I uploaded it as a little gift for slapstick fans a few years ago. The quality is indeed quite rough.... It's the original work print from the film (typically much longer without all the edits, music, FX, and so on), dubbed onto VHS, and probably copied a few times before it got to me. I truly can't remember how I obtained it. The original segment from the Nutt House (AKA the one sorely lacking in quality female hits) was a staple of 90s-era cliptapes, and I was probably searching online for the rumored "longer" version with the full 20-min pie fight... and found someone willing to dub me their copy of the work print. I'd love for a clearer copy to surface.... but seeing how we have ZERO outtakes from actual decent films, by acclaimed directors (The Great Race!!), I'm not holding my breath for anyone to release a 3-disc BluRay of the Nutt House with extended pie fight footage.

I hear ya. And IIRC, the director took his name off it as it as "Alan Smithee" film.
Apparently written by Sam Raimi, his brother Ivan, and Bruce Campbell! Who all took their names off the film as well. (The director was Adam Rifkin, who deserves most of the blame.)

Is believable with how much Raimi goes on about being a Three Stooges fan, essentially hes filmed slapstick in everything he's done with the exception of an actually half decent slapstick comedy. Glad to see he put it to use in this god awful fuckin film with a good pie fight.

And Traci Lords', even more so. There's two half-assed stills, otherwise she's clean, then slightly messed up as she gives back the engagement ring in front of the band. No actual hits. Considering it was her first non-porn film, seeing her get a pie coulda been a major plus.
I feel like this film was some of the first mainstream content I remember being discussed in a WAM forum.... This would've been the alt.sex.fetish newsgroups actually!
It couldn't have been speculation.... since the film came out in 1992, although not in America until 1995. More likely it was frustration, specifically that Traci Lords was starring in "the biggest pie fight ever filmed" and basically has a few dabs of cream on her face in the final edit.
Like I said, you couldn't buy a cliptape from WAMTEC in the 1990s (and believe me, I bought PLENTY) without it containing either: A) The Great Race, B) Tommy, or C) The Nutty Nut. I spent hours of my life fast-forwarding through the same 10 minutes of (mostly female-free) pie hits....
I could swear I've seen this movie on TV before, it just came up at random. Probably on deep cable or USA and probably in the late '90s. So much opportunity for great female coverage and in a perfect wardrobe and setting but the cameras were pointed elsewhere
