My search turned up nothing in the "Goldfoot" series. Hi iota, I'm pretty sure, 100 pc certain there's no mud wrestling in that Vincent Price Goldfoot film you mention...but, as smess wonderfully showed, there is that nightclub mud wrestling sequence in the 1000 Dolls film... I managed to catch it on German TV back in the 80s. (Sadly I never taped it. The scene caught me by surprise.) Lasting only a few minutes, it is a good sequence, with the ladies trainers and audience (including Price) around the mud ring watching, cheering and betting on the outcome. No nudity tho. I recall the full film was on YouTube a while back but it was a poor quality scan of the movie... Possibly the most famous Mondo movie, featuring a mud wrestling scene, is Mondo Freudo from 1966 and that features topless action...bet there's plenty of others...

You are correct. I have Rob Blaine's database combined with my own database on known mud scenes, so I just double checked my records, and they show

1) There was no known mud scene in Dr Goldfoot. If there was I am 100% sure Rob would have known it.

2) There are only 3 known 1960's mondo films that contain mud wrestling scenes, and those are

a) House of 1000 Dolls, as Smess cited

b) The 1967 mondo film called "Mondo Teeno"....aka "Teenage Rebellion" ...which is not a scripted film, and is more of a documentary on teenagers in the 1960's.

c) The 1969 cult period film "The Best House in London".

All 3 films are available now as DVD downloads. Note: there are 2 versions of "Best House in London". The UK version is censored and does not show any nudity. The uncut Euro release of the film has nude mud wrestlers not in the censored UK version.

Also don't forget there was an earlier French/German film released in 1958 with Hildegard Knef that featured mud wrestling.

I must admit your info about the Best House in London was new to me...I recall seeing it on TCM back in the 90s and wasn't aware of a second version. I thought the mud scene with David Hemmings showed signs of a scan to remove the nudity... Do you know where can we download the uncut Euro nude version? Thanks...

There was a lengthy, erotic mud wrestling scene in a 60's mondo movie. I think it was in Mondo Inferno (1964) released in the US as Go! Go! Go! World. I've seen the clip recently and it had some added footage, but where I do not know. Senility setting in or something. Sorry I can't be more definite.

Interesting - I have not seen that one. I downloaded the 1967 film Mondo Teeno (Teenage Rebellion) and that has a nice mud wrestling scene where a couple get married in the mud and then mud wrestle with other couples. I looked for a download of Mondo Inferno but can only find a trailer. It does indeed mention a tour of mud wrestling clubs as well. The only site I could find that has a DVD of this item is the "Loving the Classics" website.....which I will not order from because they have a notorious reputation for advertising items they do not have in stock, and when you order they often fail to deliver for months, and do not give you a refund, you just get the runaround with their customer service. I and several of my friends have been ripped off by the LTC site, so I try to avoid ordering from that site (fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me). Whenever a website rips me off, I never get fooled twice (Alibaba/AliExpres are on my black list as well).

This is kinda off but on topic... to anybody looking for a good mud wrestling scene I recommend the mud fight in a mud spa pool from an episode of Girl from U. N.C.L.E. from 1966 or 67. I'll have to track down the name of the episode. Since we were discussing mud wrestling from the 60s I figured " what the hell"
