I thought this might be of general interest so I posted it here.
I was wondering if you knew how much your clay weighed? I was thinking of making my own as Im living in hope of meeting a single muddy lady to join me for some muddy fun Candy how could you suggest I was advertising myself lol.
Anyway reason being I am dubious my upstairs floor could take it but it would be a close thing.

I'm assuming Candy used Bentonite or another powdered clay as we did when we filled the Dunk Tank with clay. Essentially its the weight of the water you'd be mainly looking at which would be 1kg per litre. For 1500 litres of clay in the Dunk Tank we used around 5 bags of clay powder at 25kg each with I'd guess around 1400 litres of water or just under that. This would be the same for Gunge as well as that is mainly made up of water.

Your upstairs should be fine yam unless you have a pre 18th century house. If you would let 5 or 6 large/tall people stand in the room upstairs the it can handle the pool. Stick it in a corner over weight bearing walls just to be sure

I don't know exact weight of it now but did work it out at one point at just over a ton

I got advice before doing it from a site for people wanting to have a birthing pool upstairs and found there is rarely any issue unless the house is very old

1 litre of water weighs 1 kilo as I expect you all know.

If someone wants to be really pedantic then 1 litre of water weighs 1 kilo at 4 degrees Celsius!

What I'm more curious is the heating system for that mud pool?? How does it work?
