I came across this beauty on Insta today who has all these deliciously sexy pictures of him covered in a stringy slippery sloppy slime!
I've become somewhat of a master of making different kinds of slime but this one I can't figure out! I've attached a picture of his (with his name so you can find him, too) in hopes that it's good enough of a reference for y'all to help...
That looks interesting. Methyl Cellulose can be incredibly difficult to mix depending on the grade but seeing how they are using boiling water first kinda makes sense. I have some here so will try that method.
We have a stringy stretchy slime that is similar but is a lot more stretchy if that makes sense. Its a case of playing with the different quantities to get what you want.
Based on my experience sploshing with it; MessySupplies VIVI Extreme would produce a very close effect to the one you're seeing. Mix it a bit thicker than recommended- I use about 7-8L of warm water. Go steady with the activator.
You could also try mixing a pack of Slube in a bucket. Each pack is recommended for a bathtub so bucket thickness is thick and stringy.
I LOVE their storefront and I would love to try ALL of their products but shipping it all the way from the UK to California is wayyyyy too expensive unfortunately. Xanthan gum is a nice alternative (so it seems) to proper gunge mix.. but I would still love to try all the authentic ones... just can't seem to justify the shipping. Boooooo.
The shipping on just 10 bags of this amazing stuff is $40!!! I got one pound of methylcellulose from amazon for $22 with free shipping...

While I TOTALLY enjoyed methylcellulose, it was not quite the effect I was looking for... SOOO...
I wouldn't call it square one per se, because I really really really enjoyed the slipperiness and ease of cleanup, but I would still like to have the gummy sticky experience... I would compare it more to xanthan gum than anything...
