One of my favorite shows growing up was "Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman." Lois Lane frequently appeared wet or messy on the show. She's probably the reason for my wam fetish. I'll try to document the scenes here (Check this thread every few days for more scenes - believe me - there are too many scenes for me to post them all at once in one day.
Pilot - Lois (and Jimmy and Clark) after falling into a puddle of mud.
Neverending Battle - Lois - wearing dirty clothes - returns to the Daily Planet after Clark sent her on a wild goose chase looking for Superman's spaceship. She found a Godzilla doll with an S panted on the chest instead. When she returned she found out that Clark had scooped her and that he was responsible for her wild goose chase. Not to mention everyone laughs at her for her appearance. The humiliation aspect is played up hard here.

I remember another with her being buried in wet cement.
This exhausts everything I remember regarding Wam in Lois & Clark.
I hate to admit it, but he HG Wells episodes were favorites as a "kid". Tempus was a terrible villian though.
I'll be posting screencaps of those scenes when I can. There are several other scenes I remember too. I'm going to try to post them all. i enjoyed those HG Wells episodes too.
Great post! The scene from the pilot was great. And the other when she fall into a cake with other lady is also good, except for the cake that wasnt sticky Keep posting! Now we need Amy Adams doing some messy stuff as Lois lol
SStuff said: Teri Hatcher really was crazy hot back then.
AMEN!! :lovestruck:
I had never heard of Teri Hatcher before that, and boy, did I develop a crush on her! Then when she got wet and messy, the "Lady in Distress", it was wonderful!
I was disappointed in the lack of coverage with that cake scene too. (Didn't Xena have a GREAT cake scene around the same time??)
I know, right? Here she is fighting with another lady in a cake and she got a fair amount on her clothes, but hardly anything on her face or in her hair. However, she did take a handful of cake/frosting and nail the lady she was fighting!
She was also put in a tank that was slowly filling up with water. Eventually it got over her head and she was swimming in it when Superman finally came! But she was totally soaked!
oh, Teri Hatcher...how i miss thee. she seemed to be there one day and then just not anywhere the next.
also, side note, but Dean Cain is surprisingly solid in this movie VENDETTA that is playing on VOD from the Soska Sisters, who did SEE NO EVIL 2 and AMERICAN MARY. If you like two-fisted, bloody/brutal B action movies, i was fairly impressed given that i went into it expecting to hate it b/c it's a WWE-produced film, but it's kind of badass.

Both the same episode, it was the story where clones of Al Capone and Bonnie and Clyde are created and Clark was "kiled" (and subsequently "brought back to life" by pretending to be a clone with the same residual memory of the original). It was Season 2 and the episode was "That Old Gang of Mine." In it, Lois is in a slumpy sweatshirt when she's put in a cement pit (along with Dr. Hamilton and and the cement is poured in. Superman arrives and stops the mixer. After that Clark "saves her dignity" by being "brought back to life" and gives her his coat (aww, I love the chivalry there, but I just WISH she hadn't been in so slumpy of clothes for this story!) She and Clark leave to stop the Capone, Bonnie and Clyde from shooting up the Daily Planet. It's there that she fight Bonnie in the huge sheet cake
There's a site somewhere out there where screencaps can be found but I can't seem to find the link right now. I found a YT clip of the cement scene though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvZELht2oic
I have my own interest in this fandom. I loved "Ordinary People" for the scenes of solitude between them (it became a honeymoon fantasy to be on a deserted island with my hubby...it close to lived out on our honeymoon...*happy sigh*). It got intermingled by my interest in getting muddy in my youthful mind at some point. While wet fans wold like that one (from the beginning of Season 3) I was disappointed later on to find it just her falling in a semi-shallow pool. Show her feet muddy at least, people! That's the only reason she's slip and fall!
I'm actually a semi-active fanfic writer in this fandom. I even have one WAM-oriented story in the works that takes place during their marriage (either during or post Season 4) where Lois dreams about taking a bath in thick chocolate (cool hot fudge-like in it's consistency) and Clark goes about trying to make her dream a reality. There's no humiliation to it, though. as it's also about the texture and the fact that Clark's doing this for her. It's pretty closed to finished, although not quite. If someone is interested in betaing it with an eye towards the WAM aspect let me know.
There's one or two WAM-oriented stories in the fandom. "Like Chocolate for Superman" is one where Lois has a dream about licking chocolate off of Superman and after she's finished she says he tastes like Clark (a reference to Clark bars that later became a favorite of hers). Another is "Close Encounters of the Chocolate Kind" where Lois and Clark get in a tug of war over a chocolate syrup bottle. There's also a PG story where Lois and Clark get into a mud fight in a pig sty at the Kent farm called "Play with Me" (for me it would be better if it didn't have Martha and Jonathan watching, but if you're into the humiliation angle, it's perfect for you). There's also "What the Honeymoon Should have been Like" that references them licking chocolate syrup and other toppings off of each other (using complete bottles in mere minutes) but like a lot of PG fic, keeps fading out (the page I found it on only has g-fic so it's completely possible it had full scenes and they got cut, but who knows? All of these were found on the Lois and Clark Fanfiction Archive at http://www.lcfanfic.com/
Finally there's what we/they call "nfic" (naughty fic) and there's the story "Two Kent Piggies" on the "Lois and Clark Fanfiction Message Boards." In order to see and read the story you'll need to join, though. In it,
As a semi-regular fanfic writer, I've gotten a few ideas for messy scenes between Clark and Lois. Only one of them has made it anywhere NEAR postable status. It's kinda kinky as there's a bit of "breath play" on top of it (Clark goes down on her in a tub full of cool hot fudge/thick chocolate while offering Lois her own chocolate covered "banana"). I've had my usual beta both like the concept (Lois in chocolate/have a dream about bathing in chocolate) and be put off by certain elements (particularly the breath-play...which wouldn't be too much breath play as it's canon in this series that he can hold his breath for at LEAST 20 minutes).
If you guys have ideas (that don't include humiliation...it's not really my thing) let me know. I've thought about expanding "Like Chocolate for Superman" a time or two but never done so because it's not mine.
I hate to admit it, but he HG Wells episodes were favorites as a "kid". Tempus was a terrible villian though.
He was both a terrible villain and also my favorite. He kind of was the embodiment of every fanboy of the time, cruelly teasing Lois about her lack of recognition of Clark. The HG wells stories were enjoyable, but my favorites always held a distinctly romantic/sexy element to them. "Pheromone My Lovely" (Lois gets sprayed with a pheromone-based perfume and allows her to express her infactuatoin with Clark without inhibitions), "Ordinary People" (where Lois and Clark have some intimate time on a deserted island) and "Sex, Lies and Photographs" (where the married Lois has an "affair" with Superman and there are repercussions to it) all rank at the top of my lists
Smart kids - Lois is tied up by a super smart girl. The girl uses some type of green gunge to dissolve the rope. She then tells Lois she should "clean up" because she's a "real mess." Nice facial expressions for this one. I edited out the girl from these pictures to avoid posting content with minors.
I remember Teri Hatcher did a photo shoot for TV Guide. The setup was earth, air, fire, and water. For water, she splashed around in a pool dress in a formal gown. Something for the wetlook fans.
