The UMD was down for awhile early this morning (early in the Pacific time zone, anyway). Ever since it came back online later in the morning, the chat function does not work at all for me. The chatbox in the lower right that shows everyone online who is available for chatting is nowhere to be seen, and when I click the "chat" button on the profiles of my friends here, nothing happens either. Well, strictly speaking, it's not quite nothing: I see a tiny little white bar at the bottom left that says: javascriptvoid(0). But effectively nothing.

My chat works fine on Safari on Mac, but not in safari on iOS or Chrome in windows 10

On iOS, what Ive found is that you need to request the desktop version of the site.

I'm not technically very savvy, so forgive me if this is obvious, but how and where do you request the desktop version of the site? I went to the preferences page and couldn't see anything mentioning this there.

Trying holding down shift and pressing reload. Messmaster passed on this tip in the chat and it seemed to sort things out for me
