There are a lot of posts here about self pieing and self gunging. I'd like to know your honest opinions of it. Is it something you regularly indulge in and do you enjoy it as much as getting messy with other people? Do you prefer to gunge/pie yourself? Or do you only ever do it with other people.

I'll share my own thoughts. I have pied myself a few times. It's ok and I enjoy it as something of a stop gap whilst I wait to arrange my next session with someone else. Although I much prefer to get pied by someone else, mainly because I like the unexpected element of it. i.e sitting with your eyes shut not knowing when the pie is going to hit you

Self WAM was all I could do for a very long time and that was fine and dandy, but when I finally got the opportunity to have fun with someone else, I can say that is definitely a lot more fun. (to be clear, I'm talking completely platonic here: differing quantities of pies a couple times with slime thrown in the mix once)

Like most aspects of WAM, I expect nearly every person will have a different reasons for even the same take on this, but for me the biggest plus was not having control over the mess. When you're getting yourself messy, you know exactly what is coming because you are in control, so the experience is almost completely limited to feeling the mess. When someone else is doing the pieing and the sliming though, there is an element of surprise. You don't know exactly when that stream of goo is going to hit you, or how fast it is going to be poured, or how they will work the stream over your head and/or body as they do it. For a pie sandwich or even one to the fact, your counterpart could hit you from behind. Even if they hit you from the front, there is a bit of a surprise in how they hit you, how fast, etc.

I imagine that if I did this all the time the novelty might wear off a bit, but I don't think it would never degrade to the level of self-WAM for me. That is just the receiving aspect of it to though, as those experiences were also the only times I was able to give it out as well and I very much enjoyed it by itself and even more so for the fun of going back and forth and enjoying each other's company while carrying out mutually assured messtruction.

I had reduced how much I was getting myself messy considerably before this happened and it did not impact the frequency I have done since then. I suppose having tried a good number of things it wasn't worth the hassle of cleanup to me anymore except for a more occasional indulgence or if some new recipe or substance presents itself to be tried. A good comparison might be that getting messy myself is like going on a fun road trip a few states over and getting messy with a friend is like going on an international adventure. Both are fun experiences, but one is definitely more so.

In my case, we had an even split of mess that we just went down the line with taking turns, but if I am lucky enough to be bale to do so with friend(s) again I would very much like to try spicing it up a but, like both getting different substances and not revealing what they are until they are used, or playing games to determine who gets hit with what, and/or with how much, like you'd see in plenty of content here. Always thought it would be really fun to do a mystery mess game with a variety of pies filled with different things to as a variation on the more typical buckets for such a game.

I LOVE getting messy, and so far the multitude of sessions I've had solo have been much more of a turn on than those couple of times I shared it with someone else. Not saying doing it with another person diminishes it for me, just that its the mess- get me naked in four buckets of stuff and I'm in bliss.

I've experienced all my easily cleanable self WAM ideas and until I have another one, I'm pretty much done w/ the self WAM.

My wife was gone for over a week last month and I wasn't inspired once. Combo of I've done it before and I don't want to clean.

Knowing me, I will come up w/ a new messy obsession that I gotta try, but right now I'm in a lull.

I had to do self wet or messy play for a very long time, then when the internet really started kicking off, I finally got to play with others. However, self mess doesn't interest me as much as it used to. I will once in awhile, but the mood has to be really strong. I'd much rather get messy with another...or in a group.

I agree with most of you that I'm certainly more turned on when somebody else is inflicting the messy goop on me. A large part of my attraction for WAM is the embarrassment aspect.

That being said, I do a lot of self WAM and what works for me is playing messy dare games here and thus publicly committing to WAMing myself when I lose and promising to post picture proof of it here. It works for me at least.

I started getting messy at the same time I started shooting videos. As I've told a lot of people, the goal was always to share with people how much I enjoyed getting messy. And in the beginning, when I was self-wamming, it was enjoyable. It was enough. But then I wanted to produce material that was like what the professional producers were making, because that's what I was watching. And that meant upping the production values, spending more money, having a plot, etc. And now that I've been doing that for a few years, I'm a little embarrassed about the quality of those early videos, which is why I took them off YouTube. Like some others here, and particularly because bondage, being talked down to, and the element of surprise are some of my biggest turn-ons, self-wam doesn't do it for me anymore.

I've been fortunate to have the combination of a good reputation as a producer (if you want to call me that), living alone, and living in areas where there have been plenty of wammers, so I'm able to find people to shoot with every so often. But I know that setup/cleanup, privacy, location, and financial considerations don't make that possible for everyone.

So basically, IMO, self-gunging is better than nothing. But having a partner is far better.

When I was younger a gunging would involve a can of custard or two, so it wasn't a huge amount of effort for one person.

These days a gunging is between 40 and 120 litres of gunge, and an overly elaborate contraption for delivering it. I tend not to bother going to that much effort alone

Getting wet and messy alone was how I started out but it's been over two years since I last did it solo (and even then that was only a few cartons of custard and some chocolate sauce). Getting messy with others is definitely my preference.

Self wam is great.I enjoy it & get turned on. With a partner is even better & more exciting.Which I prefer would depend on the material(s) used.& the partner

Like a lot of other people -'when it was all I could get (pre Internet access) I would do it, and will still do it occasionally...but a LOT more fun with a buddy. Also fin the 'I'm a weirdo' feelings of shame etc. that try as I might I just can't shale are intensified when I'm cleaning up a solo gunging.

When I was first getting into gunge, I'd self gunge whenever I could. It's how I started exploring the fetish.

However, I haven't done it in years now. As soon as I began to meet up with other people, self gunging started seeming much less fun.

Completely gunging another fully clothed guy has the best for me but I also enjoy self gunging. I prefer to get wet or muddy with other guys but it's still fun to do it alone. There is extra pleasure being with another guy who is enjoying being totally trashed too.

i fucking love it. there have been times where i have had a lot of fun stuff and im like "man, i wish someone else would give me this pie sandwich" but its kinda like jerking yourself off or for me, flicking my bean....no one knows how to get the job done better than yourself. you have no idea how many times i have had stuff poured on me where i have yelled at mr camera guy "OH MY GOD, DO YOU NOT GET IT?? That's probably post-orgasmic tristesse. 5 seconds after you climax, your hormones crash and you look at the state of the bathroom and think "what the fuck am I doing?"

As you know it isn't that easy to find a regularly gunge partner. I meet mine every 2 or 3 month but i need to gunge once a week to be happy. So, of course its much better with another one but for normal days its ok to gunge myself

For me, it's ok.

However, I much prefer to 1. have a partner, 2. be the giver, in that order.

So, self-wam is fine, in case of emergency, but as I age, it becomes less and less of an emergency.

On top of the fact that I have been able to, for about 5 years, been able to find a line of guys willing to be the receiver.*

*They are willing to receive because I pay them.

I think that self-WAM is the second best thing. Of course it's great to share it with someone, but it's not always easy to bring it up in a relationship. Although I had some nice experiences. But mostly the light stuff (whipped cream, chocolate mousse). Going totally messy I kept to myself so far, and I found ways to keep it exciting... Must admit I didn't do it for a while though...
