Hola amigos Some of you may know me on the messy forum as PieZone--well starting this month, I am expanding operations into the wetlook side of the fetish, and as such, would like to introduce myself here as WetZone!
It's funny, I've been around the UMD almost since the beginning, but have stayed exclusively to the messy side- this is really the first time I've paid attention to wetlook. While not being wildly turned on by it, I gotta say I do like it! If you're familiar with any of my PieZone work, you'll know I strive to make great videos--the best models, outfits, materials, situations, cameras, lighting, editing, etc--and I'm excited to try my hand at a wetlook project of a similar quality.
I've scouted out some Airbnb listings with private pools in my area and several of my messy models are interested in shooting. Oh and I have a collection of outfits from messy shoots ready to use, so this may all take off rather quickly....
So a few questions for you guys to help clarify things. Please feel free to answer any or all of these questions, here or in a PM.
1. What's your favorite outfit to see wet? 2. What is your favorite location/scenario you like to see in a wetlook scene? 3. How big of a difference does an awesome or high end location make versus a basic setup? 4. What reactions do you like the model to have in a wetlook scene? 5. What do you think about underwater shots? 6. What's the most important thing for you in a wetlook scene? 7. What's the biggest mistake, in your opinion, that wetlook producers typically make?
Ok thanks guys! All advice is appreciated. I'm attaching some pics of available models that are interested in crossing over from messy-- and if anyone wants to sponsor a scene in the first shoot, I'm certainly happy to discuss that
I love the women in long tight white pants/jeans, bra less, hair down, long hair, long sleeved shirt, white panties, and the shirt tucked in. Of course, I love the women smiling, and enjoying wetlook. I like lakes, swimming pool, ocean, or jacuzzi. The location I like is not to overrated, just a plain and simple locale. I like underwater shots.
Love how there's an instant difference in opinion regarding clothing preferences...casual vs. formal...are people split 50/50 on that? On the messy side, there's a definite majority vote for formalwear
1)I prefer formal dresses long gowns, fancy short dresses. With gloves that match the outfit. I on occasion like them to strip to bra and panties.
2)I prefer pools, and other bodies of water over things like showers. Tubs are okay too but pools and bodies of water are better.
3)It makes no difference to me how basic or high end it is.
4)I prefer surprise or anger towards the person who pushed them in if there is another person involved. I just like the unintentional wetlook where the model is pushed in, pulled in or falls in somehow. In the end I want them to enjoy it.
5)I like underwater shots if they are done right and they aren't too many or too long of a shot. There is something sexy about seeing a skirt float up enough to see a ladies underwear.
6)That the scene starts out with a dry model and is dry for more than 60 seconds. I like build up to the wetlook. As I've mentionted having the wetlook be unexpected and unplanned. Also I do prefer to see all sides of the wet clothes and model.
7)Focusing too much on the sex side of things more than the wet clothes doing their work on their own. With the exception of a few producers on here.
yeahuno said: I love the women in long tight white pants/jeans, bra less, hair down, long hair, long sleeved shirt, white panties, and the shirt tucked in. Of course, I love the women smiling, and enjoying wetlook.
Simple clothes, somewhat see thru. I like casual clothes, jeans, yoga pants, t-shirts. I also like dresses or skirts especially with a chance for nip slip. I am also open to partial or full nudity, swimsuits, and sexual situations.
Also, I don't really care about feet or shoes but I do like seeing sneakers like converse getting wet but it's not that important.
2. What is your favorite location/scenario you like to see in a wetlook scene? I like scenarios that seem natural. Being thrown in a pool or slowly getting wet as if no one's watching (but we are), at the beach without swimsuit, getting caught in the rain, a water fight with the garden hose. 3. How big of a difference does an awesome or high end location make versus a basic setup? Lighting, decent camera quality is important. I'd say content is more important than quality but good quality helps. 4. What reactions do you like the model to have in a wetlook scene? Enjoyment of getting wet, like they would do it if no cameras were on. Also, show that they are turned on or that they know it is turning the viewer on 5. What do you think about underwater shots? Some underwater is okay but I prefer to see above the water. 6. What's the most important thing for you in a wetlook scene? Wet hair and attitude. 7. What's the biggest mistake, in your opinion, that wetlook producers typically make? Cutting at the wrong time. I like to see the process of dry to wet. If the model is dry and suddenly cuts to already wet takes away some off the enjoyment for me. Don't zoom into the feet when the model is getting her hair wet.
Recently, I've been looking for wetlook that tends to get more into the sexual porn area. I've been looking for videos with good wetlook and jerk off encouragement. That may not be what you want for your site but I'd be interested to see more producers go that direction.
Also recently I found some older videos from Oasis where two girls were spraying each other with a hose. If you can capture the fun, spontaneousness of that I'd prefer that.
Hey there! Looking forward to checking out your new site! Just to add my thoughts...
1. What's your favorite outfit to see wet? I'm definitely a jeans man - especially Levi's where possible. I'm a big fan of a simple white t-shirt or shirt, tucked in nice and tight!
2. What is your favorite location/scenario you like to see in a wetlook scene? Anywhere that's wet! Shower, bath, pool, beach...not too fussed.
3. How big of a difference does an awesome or high end location make versus a basic setup? I don't think it makes much difference as long as the pics are high res where possible. The simple setups are often the best.
4. What reactions do you like the model to have in a wetlook scene? They definitely need to be having fun in my opinion. A fun reaction is best...although a bit of an erotic reaction is nice too!
5. What do you think about underwater shots? Some underwater shots or footage in a wetlook set is nice, but not at the expense of out of water scenes.
6. What's the most important thing for you in a wetlook scene? Starting dry and enjoying getting wet is important for me...and lots of close shots of shiny wet jeans...and a smiling happy model.
7. What's the biggest mistake, in your opinion, that wetlook producers typically make? Getting too wet too quickly, and/or ending a scene too soon - like others, I like to see the model exit the scene sometimes rather than a simple fade to black.
1. What's your favorite outfit to see wet? Causal but sexy, for example tight jeans boots, low cut top, but also I like winter outfits so you could add jacket, gloves, maybe scarf etc. Gloves in wetlook is good as is boots.
2. What is your favorite location/scenario you like to see in a wetlook scene? Can be a bath or shower or swimming pool, but also everyday scenes, normal rooms. I like the idea of the model wearing full casual outfit, even winter outfit indoors just casually getting herself wet, not minding about her clothes footwear and accessories getting spoilt and maybe even walking around the house completely soaked in her clothes letting the water drip everywhere.
3. How big of a difference does an awesome or high end location make versus a basic setup? Not so much of a difference, though the location needs to look a realistic living space. Actually using a house/apartment rather than a studio may be a good thing for realism.
4. What reactions do you like the model to have in a wetlook scene? They need to be anything between having fun, enjoying, totally comfortable with it and totally casual and nonchalant about it, also being aware of their bodies etc while doing it as they are filmed. Not keen on anger or surprise or indignation.
5. What do you think about underwater shots? Not concentrating on underwater shots but only as part of overall scene.
6. What's the most important thing for you in a wetlook scene? Fully clothed, footweared and accessorised, going from dry to wet without removing anything. Casual wetting, the model not being worried about the clothing or the expense or the surroundings. Model needs be enjoying it etc as I mentioned above. A very very extreme example would be fur coat, gloves, jewellery, designer jeans, Louboutin boots, all totally soaked and the girl, fully clothed and dripping wet sashaying across the new deep pile carpet, maybe sipping champagne...........
7. What's the biggest mistake, in your opinion, that wetlook producers typically make? I'm not aware of any particular mistakes, but certainly to well and evenly pace the scene from beginning to end.
Here goes with my thoughts. 1) Anything that clings / goes transparent when wet. Usually braless - but a cute lacy bra isn't a showstopper. 2) Anywhere really - swimming pool / dunk tank / water pistol fight in a field. 3) Not a lot - its the girl I'm interested in, not the scenery. 4) I like embarrassed that then leads on to self-confidence. "Oh no - I'm soaking wet - are you enjoying the view" etc. 5) Not fussed by them - like it when the girl gets out of the water though... 6) The girl getting wet 7) Lack of continuity / story - I like to see a girl start dry, get wet then see her reaction to being wet.
1) I much prefer formal wear, I'm not a huge fan of casual wear. But I think its important to produce a mixture of outfits to cater for both preferences.
2) Often outdoor shoots don't tend to enable/include long sequences of models getting wet. They paddle into the sea or step under a waterfall and climb out fairly quickly. I prefer scenes where the model spends a reasonable amount of time getting wet. 10 seconds of getting wet and 5 minutes of standing around wet afterwards are, for me, not good value. So having a hose/shower nearby is always a plus.
3) High end scenes do add to the glamour, I do prefer those. But sometimes, simple scenes can be extremely effective.
4) Natural reactions, i don't like models pretending to be turned on.
5) Underwater shoots are good as long as the whole scene isn't under.
6) Reasonably long before and after shots with a long time of getting wet. I also like it when another model helps get the other one wet, like hosing her down or pouring a bucket over her head.
7) Similar scenes. Too many wetlook producers make dozens of identical scenes with no variation.
1. What's your favorite outfit to see wet? I like to see smart casual. The sort of things worn for going shopping or lunch with friends, with all accessories like jewellery, belts etc.. I also like wet sportswear. No one seems to do that.
2. What is your favorite location/scenario you like to see in a wetlook scene? I prefer pool shoots. Ideally an indoor public pool which doesn't seem to happen much anymore Also if possible starting or ending in underwear to show they weren't wearing a swimsuit.
3. How big of a difference does an awesome or high end location make versus a basic setup? As long as the model and outfit are good it's not that important
4. What reactions do you like the model to have in a wetlook scene? I like the model to enjoy her experience 5. What do you think about underwater shots? take 'em or leave 'em 6. What's the most important thing for you in a wetlook scene? Starting completely dry, finish fully wet.
7. What's the biggest mistake, in your opinion, that wetlook producers typically make? Tights under trousers.
Always happy to hear that there is another producer. It seems like a tremendous amount of work and I'm never sure if you guys make much money. It has to be a labor of love or it wouldn't be worth all the hassle.
Everyone has their own tastes. I agree with the person above that suggests splitting between jeans and dressier outfits. That seems to be the two major camps. My personal favorites are office clothes. Women occasionally get wet in casual clothes in the non-wetlook world. It is much rarer to see them do so in their office/work clothes. That's why I think I enjoy it so much. The less appropriate the outfit for getting wet in the more I want to see a woman get wet in it.
My own special personal interest is wet high heels and pantyhose. I know there are barefoot fans and those that hate hose (someone above thinks they shouldn't be work under pants) but for me I think hose should be worn for wetlook always. As a base layer under anything else. So really you can't lose. Just pick what you like and run with it, or vary between the two extremes. There will always be someone happy and someone upset.
I don't know what your resources are but if they are on the high end, I have always thought that a savvy producer would run two or three cameras at a time and then produce a basic video (woman gets wet in whatever the setting/scenario is) and then sell extras with an emphasis on particular kinks (breasts, butts, feet, etc.). Someone like me who loves to watch squishing shoes could get some extra minutes for an add on price and others who want to see the camera concentrate on the chest gets to buy that instead. Worth a shot, but probably prohibitively expensive for most producers.
Anyway, good luck. Will look forward to your contribution to our little world.
I love those dapa design shorts and rainwear, but not those plastic/rubber macs, just the every day rain/waterproof jackets. Tucked up at the waist so you can see the shorts. I like the rain jackets with, really, anything on the bottom, skirts/jeans/dresses..
2. What is your favorite location/scenario you like to see in a wetlook scene?
pool, pond, river, anywhere thats really wet.
3. How big of a difference does an awesome or high end location make versus a basic setup? no difference to me.
4. What reactions do you like the model to have in a wetlook scene?
I prefer natural reactions.
5. What do you think about underwater shots? Really don't mind.
6. What's the most important thing for you in a wetlook scene?
The jacket stays zipped up.
7. What's the biggest mistake, in your opinion, that wetlook producers typically make?
Mostly when there are scenes with rainwear or winter jackets/coats, when in the water, the unzip them and end up taking them off. I would like to see the jacket/coat stay on throughout the scene.
Wet look is a varied taste just as messy is a varied taste. To me it has always been about nice clothing and model being messed up. Specifics: 1. What's your favorite outfit to see wet? Formal wear is always my favorite whether messy or wet look. There is just something more naughty in having formal wear or nice clothing in a wet scene. Some might not mind their casual wear getting wet. But formal wear needs much more care such as dry cleaning. So getting it wet also might destroy it. If casual, it needs to be see thru so we get to see the model's charms. And like many replying have stated having the model end up in bra and panties (or nude) is a great way to end the scene. 2. What is your favorite location/scenario you like to see in a wet look scene? Outdoors at a pool or beach. Having the model's falling in (entering) the water seem accidental is preferable. 3. How big of a difference does an awesome or high end location make versus a basic setup? I am watching the scene to see the model and clothing get destroyed. So the location is not of much importance in wet look scenes. Messy scenes can be improved by having some high end furniture get messed up such as cloth covered chairs or couches. When AllWam was a stand alone site, they did a great job of having locations that looked like they were being destroyed for many of their scenes. Models sitting on nicely upholstered couches with mess poured on them, etc. 4. What reactions do you like the model to have in a wet look scene? The reactions depend upon the story line. Not as important as seeing the model get completely drenched. 5. What do you think about underwater shots? Not my cup of tea. I like seeing the clothing getting darker (or going see thru) as it gets wet. 6. What's the most important thing for you in a wet look scene? A slow soaking of the model / clothing so the effect of the water is obvious. If two people are involved, a tit for tat with the clothing slowly showing the signs of water, the face showing make up running and finally the hair completely drenched. 7. What's the biggest mistake, in your opinion, that wet look producers typically make? When the model simply jumps in and is instantly all wet. I prefer seeing a slow soaking. The tease of will she or will she not get wet is a better way to go.
In the end wet look and messy need the same premises in my eyes. Nice looking clothing, well manicured look with touches such as gloves, jewelry, make up and hair style that will get destroyed by mess or by water. Just as in messy, I prefer to see the coverage come slowly. Just as prefer to see pies instead of slime as the first way a model gets messy, seeing a model spill a cup of water (liquid of any kind) and then get slowly wetter or slowly enter the pool (lake or whatever) until fully soaked.
Casual outfits. Jeans and t-shirts. Nice color changes and see through. 2. Pools and Baths 3. None as long as the get wet head to toe. Make sure that hair is SOAKED 4. Sexy and fun. Models that are relaxed and enjoying themselves make the best videos/pics 5. Use them sparingly 6. Model's enjoyment and wet hair. I'm mean fully soaked and natural reactions. 7. They treat it too much as a glamour shot and ruin the aspect of what wetlook is. Getting soaked, while clothed, while having fun!
1. What's your favorite outfit to see wet? ... flimsy summer dresses 2. What is your favorite location/scenario you like to see in a wetlook scene? .... pool 3. How big of a difference does an awesome or high end location make versus a basic setup? ....not that big a deal 4. What reactions do you like the model to have in a wetlook scene? .... smiling 5. What do you think about underwater shots? .... not my preference 6. What's the most important thing for you in a wetlook scene? .... the emerging from the water, super clingy shot (front and back) 7. What's the biggest mistake, in your opinion, that wetlook producers typically make? .... not taking advantage of sideways sunlight
What's your favorite outfit to see wet? Office wear, especially nylons. Have a huge thing for wet nylon feet. Also anything white that is see through once wet. 2. What is your favorite location/scenario you like to see in a wetlook scene? I like water fights with cold water and seeing clothed women thrown or pushed into cold water. So a water fight in a garden would be great and also the use of a bath or shower and seeing her forced in! Some sort of jeopardy. 3. How big of a difference does an awesome or high end location make versus a basic setup? Either. 4. What reactions do you like the model to have in a wetlook scene? If the water is cold then there will be a natural reaction that I will enjoy! A scream and a struggle to catch the breath. 5. What do you think about underwater shots? Okay if the outfit is see through. 6. What's the most important thing for you in a wetlook scene? That the people enjoy what they are doing and really want to soak each other! 7. What's the biggest mistake, in your opinion, that wetlook producers typically make? Mainly it's just one person getting themselves wet. In messy they nearly always have people messaging each other but very rarely in wet look. Also not providing any kind of preview to videos they sell. It would be good to try before you buy!
Good luck with the new site. I will follow its progress with interest.
Excited to see the progress! Will definitely be following for sure when it's opened. I've seen your messy work, and have no doubt you'll do fantastic on the wet side of things! As for my input on your questions... 1. I prefer casual such as plain colored t-shirts that stick tight when wet and jeans, or exercise such as yoga pants and tight fitting workout tank tops. Those are my top picks for preferred outfits. 2. Location for me would be a hot tub or pool. Bathtub is a good alternative for me, but I always love hot tubs as my top pick because they are larger in size than a bath, but not to big like a pool to allow great close-up action, and can allow the model to freely submerge and can always have another join without a problem. Which leads into scenario, something about two girls soaking together and making out is great, and when they go even further just gets me every time. If solo, clothed to nude and/or with self pleasure is my preferred scenario. 3. No difference 4. I like to see the model enjoying the scene and not forcing a reaction just for the sake of the scene. 5. I don't mind them, as long as it isn't the main focus however. Occasional underwater shots aren't bad at all! 6. The most important thing for me is full soaking, head to toe. And not a lean back to soak hair but a full complete submersion. Wetlook isn't true wetlook for me unless the model has her outfit plus hair soaking wet. 7. I feel the same as some when they say ending the scene to early. I prefer to see the model walk away, all soaked. Or, in reference to my feelings from 6, not having the model get wet head to toe.
Pantyhose, pantyhose and pantyhose. Both formal and casual are great, pantyhose goes well with both. And I love the sudden wetlook, the woman ending up getting instantly wet, like falling in. Thats rear to see, mostly the models get wet very slowly and sensual, thats great, but for the diversity, maybe some falling in? This is an exiting project, best of luck!!!
I can only speak to my own preferences for the most part but I'll try to cover a variety of trends both good and bad that I have noticed (imo). The mistakes section is pretty long but I believe the more feedback we are able to give, the more production quality will improve! It is exciting to see a new player in the field of professional wetlook production!
1. I prefer casual clothes or formal, usually some that show some leg along with shoes and socks or boots.
2. I like seeing use of pools or any deep body of water. It is always nice if there is an area where it is deep enough to not be able to touch the bottom of the body of water and can swim freely underwater or above it but this might be difficult due to differing swimming abilities.
3. I personally do not care about if the location is high or low-end, I am more focused on the depth and size of the body of water, preferably deep and full.
4. I do not usually care about the reactions of models in wetlook scenes but I like to see a bit of discomfort but also smiling too. As long as the models are enjoying what they do, I will also enjoy seeing their pleasure.
5. Underwater shots are nice but shouldn't be the majority of the shoot in my opinion. They are a nice added bonus if there is a camera capable of going underwater.
6. The most important thing for me in a scene is being able to see the before and after clearly from a variety of angles, close up, and full-body angles too. I also like clothes that change significantly in appearance when wet, both in colour, shape, texture, and physical behaviour. Example: White goes see-through, grey becomes very dark, pink becomes vivid, leather absorbs slowly, flowy dresses become sticky and billowing, and boots and socks fall down to ankles when wet.
7. More personally, I prefer vintage sets that seem to understand what a "complete" outfit is. I notice a lot of modern sets leave out items like socks and underwear both bottoms and bras! I find this quite appalling. I believe a part of wetlook is also "the tease" and clothes becoming more revealing of details and curves in the body and underlying clothes or undergarments. Some producers discount the affect of good lighting! Both EEWetlook and wetlook.biz have some nice examples of good lighting that accentuates the wetness of clothes. Lack of variety in outfits, location, and overall layout of shoots is a big mistake. More recently, I've noticed a lot of outfits containing pantyhose, even with shorts and PANTS where I don't think they are appropriate. Also outfits containing a mashup of styles all together in general. I think this comes from producers not having a coherent vision for each shoot and try to pander to a wide audience for EVERY shoot, the same philosophy as a mass produced product or song. I believe that if each shoot has a coherent vision and "theme" to the style and outfit worn, some people will enjoy it and some won't but eventually if enough variety is offered across the sets, everyone's preferences will be covered sooner or later anyways! Except now it is not a mashup of incoherent outfits and generic themes, each film has a distinct vision in mind, and the audience can sense the producer's dedication and will anxiously wait and be back for more in the future!

What a lot of interesting replies you've received. One thing for sure, we're all different! Here's some thoughts of mine.
1) White t-shirt and shiny shorts. 2) Pool. 3) No difference. 4) Suprise, excitement, like she really wants to get wet but she's aware that she shouldn't so she takes her time. 5) Not that interesting. 6) Seeing dry to wet. 7) Try to be too sophisticated, like the cute girl next door look!

Yes I do! WAMInStyle seems to have some sets like this and if that preference extends to boots as well, I can recommend some sets on Wetlook.biz.
I actually had a video made upon request on the WAMInStyle store, ID:517 that is exactly what you're looking for! http://www.waminstyle.com/store/storesets/ http://www.waminstyle.com/static/sets/store/main_vimages/517/vprv45.jpg
