But you're a mud guy anyway, right? It would be like me commenting on which brand of beans I prefer in knickers. [Spoiler: I hate all WAM clips involving beans.]
I guess we can add the "hates colored pies" contingent to the "hates shaving cream pies," "hates real cream pies," "hates pudding pies," and "hates chocolate pies" contingents. Pie fans... Always easy to please!
Mainly, but I bought Angie's tits even though you didn't put any mud on 'em.
(Which someone needs to do, for the love of god. Send her to my place and I'll do it. Don't mention the lampshade thing.)
I'm not as ... invested in it as some of the pie-hards are, but I definitely get enough wood for pies to have an aesthetic preference. And I think pink and purple and blue fillings are far enough away from the cream pie/slapstick mainstream that I'm not alone in finding them non-canon, am I?
Just as an addendum to that, when I was a kid watching THREE'S COMPANY reruns, I did not see the point of Joyce DeWitt. At. All. Now that I'm old, though, I think she was cute as fuck.

I can't say I don't enjoy seeing a woman hit with a bright blue pie or a neon green pie or a glow-in-the-dark pink pie, especially when she's as beautiful as most of the Chega ladies and the coverage is as great as many of the Chega pie hits. But I still definitely prefer the more ...er... "natural" cream pie colors. Which probably goes back to my "roots" of seeing very predominantly white, yellow, or brown (chocolate) pies applied to faces in my childhood. But Rich and I are pretty close in age, so he has those same roots...and yet he has no problem with brightly colored pies, it seems. On the other hand, how often have you done brightly colored pies in your videos, Rich? It seems like the overwhelming majority of pies you've used over the years -- and continue to use -- are the more standard colors. You do seem to use a lot of butterscotch pudding pies, which is admittedly somewhat non-standard in comedy, but still completely fine by me, as it's very comfortably in the non-neon color spectrum.

I'm sure those blue pies had good coverage when the ladies wearing them were first hit (I probably saw the clip, but most of those flourescent Chega Mais pieings tend to blur together in my memory) but the coverage in the actual photo you posted really isn't all that great, Rich. There's a lot more pie stuck to Suzanne Somers' and Joyce Dewitt's faces. So it doesn't have to be entirely about color.

I actually don't care about color. Truth be told, I prefer traditional looks too (although most of these gameshows tend to over-light so pure white pies can sometimes wash out on camera). But coverage tends to trump all.
The IG photo I posted was probably taken about 20 minutes or more after the pie hits, and there's STILL residue there. If you want to see the pie in action, some screen shots of my (ex-) girl Barbara are below. I particularly like how she's still completely covered even while at the podium, something you basically NEVER see in mainstream clips.
[Side note: A former model of mine used to have a blast getting pied. She'd even text me to recommend flavors of pies I should make for her next shoot. Then she started dating some douchebag... And suddenly, she wouldn't shoot again and acted like she hated ever getting pied in the first place. That's how I feel comparing Barbara's attitude now to these pics from a month ago. Very much, "You can PRETEND you were never enjoying this, but video doesn't lie...."]
Okay, I have to admit that is some excellent coverage. But that very synthetic blue color makes it slightly less sensational for me than it would otherwise be, and I also am kind of bothered by how thickly it clings to the face but doesn't splatter into the hair at all.
(I realize that in some of the better Chega pieings, the men would rub the pie plate around in the model's hair as well. But with a more standard cream pie, even with just a pie planted directly in the target's face, you'd still usually get streaks of cream through her long hair too.)
Sorry, hair coverage does nothing for me either way. I suppose if that's part of it then the sticky pies wouldn't be as good.
Ironically, messy hair is about the only Babs DOES get now. This was the final pie she ever took on CM.... Since then, her opponents have only been allowed to "balloon" her when she misses a question.

"Face is the Place," to paraphrase Sun Ra (I know, I know, people are really running this jazz dude from Saturn right into the ground around here, but he really said it all.) In other words, pie in just the hair is generally a huge letdown for me. The crucial place is for a pie to go is right in the face. But somehow it's not nearly as satisfying for me if it's ONLY on the face. I love the splatter effect of some of the pie ending up streaked through the hair, as well as splattered down the front of the target's chest.
hi all, i',m brazilian and watch this sometimes... its realy annoying. Woman can do absolutely everything !!!! some of you guys dont understand portuguese, but who understand you see all complaints of the girls will be accepted. for example notice every girl will lower the body a little to get close of the button before the question and no one say nothing, but if a guy do the same she will complain and the presenter will make him stand straight. in a older episode the mans was coming for a sequence of defeats and the presenter said she will supports them. The others girls went mad with her. for they the presenter must support the female team ever just because she is a woman. YES!! THEY THINK ITS NORMAL TAKE HELP EVER!!! unfortunately this happen not only in "chega mais" but in every game who have girls... brazilians protect alot our girls. In a "passa ou repassa" episode the girls was losing and just start to choose the oponents, every girl choosing and no one said nothing... even worse the presenter encouraged they. ( needless to say the mans cant do the same) And of course woman love to rub the a pie in man',s face but dont accept take... she lowers her head and use hands to protect (normal)
I miss the show " Interligado games " few pies but in there the presenter say before someone pie opponent's face "_ Se sobre no partinho vai para voce !" ( _ if remain in the plate the rest will go to you) The result its all pie scene are good

And for me i only watch it because of the hair wam! And they have stunning hair.
I would love it when they only have gungballoons or at least pie the hair too. And i would hate it if the only pie the face. ( Ps: i dont like the flour balloons)

Taken on it's own, hair coverage does nothing for me -- actually, if it replaces what might have otherwise been a face hit, then I find it irksome.
However, coupled with a great hit that does have proper face coverage, I find it amplifies the overall effect greatly.
Case in point below. A wonderful hit with great facial coverage and the smearing in the hair on top of that make this a truly wonderful pieing overall for me.

I wish there were some HD or better clips from this show. You wouldn't have anything, would you? That one pie the presenter took looked great, actually a lot of the pies from this show were great hits. It's another great pie formula, whatever they used.
Now that the shows FB is getting spammed by some lunatic, I think we're screwed. I know the show owes us nothing, but when the early days had a legit trivia contest where the ladies got destroyed by about a 3 to 1 ratio, and then it's tweaked 100 ways to Sunday to help the ladies to the point where it's not legit, and throw in the fact that I think this is a top 5 WAM show ever, you can understand the frustration. I would more than happy if a "game" called Men vs Women, had simply even results.
But I have no doubt the game will be shorter, they'll spend more time goofing off, and I think they are starting to get guests and maybe average fans involved more. That I can do no complaining, it's their show. It's really the "fairness" of the game that makes me go crazy.

Please explain why the trivia contest was "legit" when the ladies were losing 3 out of every 4 times, but it's "not legit" when it's tweaked so that the men lose most of the time. (It was clearly "tweaked" from the beginning, just in a different direction.)
brewcrew79 said:I can do no complaining, it's their show. It's really the "fairness" of the game that makes me go crazy.
And yet most of your post IS a complaint about the show. You say the contest is no longer "legit" or "fair" but you were totally fine with the "unfairness" when it skewed in a direction that gave you scenes that appeal to your fetish. I know you say you'd be happy if the mess was 50/50, but even that is really just you wanting to see more females pied than we've gotten in recent episodes. And of course it's fine to want that, but please don't delude yourself into thinking that this has anything to do with "fairness" for you.
I'd hardly call the women on Combate Peru "so-so". They are just as hot as those on Chega Mais or Domingo Legal. Made more so by them wearing the incredibly sexy near-panty-only short shorts!
Women in full dress just don't appeal to me. With the exception of women in a 3 Stooges short, for some odd reason. I don't know why my mind works that way.
Also, what's going on? Is there an Archer convention in town? If so, I'm in!

How about I just say that I'm mad at the direction of the show. Disect that last sentence in 450,000 words or more if you must.

(I don't expect a word for word translation, just a summary of the argument.)
Thanks.
*** As an English speaking-only dumb American I did the best I could to sum up the scene. Hopefully Murk can fill in the blanks.
Wow dude you found a part where demonstrated what i said Well the the exact moment the link start she are saiyng " he has 50 %" i dont understand what the guy say because alot screaming around, but the second guy (whrite shirt ) say to him "destroy her, please destroy her" and she continues " he has 50% " the interesting: he will catch the pie and she scream to him : "Daniel, what we agreed ?" so he leaves the pie and catch a ballon can't understand the discussion between the 2
- a new Casino opens in Las Vegas - the Casino lets everybody win for the first several weeks - and now the Casino changes the rules with less chances to win - so now the people are revolting
I remember 20 years ago when The Richard Bey Show started airing, how it seemed like a dream come true when it first started, with so many pie scenes and messy games, but later people like me grew very tired of the repetitiveness and the sub-par looks of the women on the show....so I was very pleased when it finally ended....but years later, you can look back again at those old scenes and appreciate them for what they were at that time.
I think it was very shrewd strategy that Leon of Mostwam devised...i.e. Leon learns Portuguese and creates the perfect pie game that covers all the hot buttons that pie fans like to see, and he sells his concept to Brasilian TV and then he becomes the male host of this pie gameshow....and delivers magic for the first few weeks for free...and then he pulls out the rug and changes the rules and kills his own show...so that the pie fans will then migrate to the better scenes he makes on his own website.
Smart strategy.....I did not know Leon had moved to Brasil.

With their florescent colors and stretchy, almost plastic textures, the Chega Mais pies look more than a little like bubble gum.
[Edit: The UMD isn't showing these pictures in very good quality, even when you click them to see the bigger version (at least that's the case for me). If you want a better look at the texture of these pies to see what I'm talking about, save these pics to your computer and then open the saved files. You'll see them much bigger and with more detail.]
It is interesting that the least artificial looking of the Chega Mais pies, the yellow ones (still pretty bright, but more in the realm of "real" pie colors than the pink, blue, green, and purple ones) have a lot less of this "bubblegum" look. At least some of the time, they look not that far off from traditional buttercream pies (these screencaps come from the same episode as the ones I posted immediately above).
