"The face you make in the last frame before getting hit with a pie"

The "last-second face" can be pretty hilarious depending on the expression. My preference is to see the actress NOT clench up their eyes, lips, etc. just beforehand. I tend to think that's one of the hallmarks of a really good actress: they either carry on with the emotion they're in the midst of expressing or utilize a "it's just business as usual" face. And sure, I'm clearly biased, but she's just a great actress, no matter how you cut it.

Here's a whole mess (pun intended) of screencaps from the early portion of what might be my favorite Carrie scene ever, SS163 scene 1. There are two pre-reaction shots for each pie hit shown here, one taken at the last moment Carrie has her eyes open and then another followup after she has closed her eyes in bracing for pastry impact. At the request of a number of you, I'm including impact and aftermath shots here, not just pre-reaction shots. Note especially in some of these aftermath shots the great enjoyment of Carrie's very clean and very hot friend Taylor.

A highly recommended clip (unless you can't stand seeing the gorgeous Taylor stay clean throughout while Carrie gets destroyed with mess)!

Three's Company scene. The male roles the camera was at better angle and the actors faced the camera, but all the women it seems like camera panned back, standing sideways etc. The harder and faster pie hits the women got also made slow motion and screenshots blurry.
