What about people who want to get messy but not on a stage in front of 40 people? Will there be an equivalent of the "basement games" from the recent Splosh event in London?
I'm getting rather giddy now that the Slosh show is less than four weeks away, and how delighted I am to be the compere for the second time; I will make sure gungey punishments are dished out to the lucky (or unlucky) contestants who take part!
Such fun!
4/3/24, 8:08am: This post won't bump the thread to the top.
I like how you say you accept people's background and sexuality for these events. How riske are the games in terms of clothing. I'd never been gunged before but always wanted to try it. I'd just feel uncomfortable not wearing anything on stage in front of others. What do people wear for the games on stage? Do you get many heterosexual men involved as well?

This event is for those that really enjoy a bit of messy humiliation with TV game show fantasises. We will not be operating any kind of private gunge dungeon. Our regular events might be of more interest to you where there are less people and a slightly more intimate setting.

You can wear whatever you want, just be sure to having something clean to travel home in. Nobody will be stripped naked but if they want to be naked that's entirely up to them as we don't have a zero nudity restriction as with previous venues. There are a couple of games that require underwear to be on show. Audience members may opt-out of any involvement and are given warning in advance of such things.
We don't ask people their sexuality when booking, we also don't ask our membership either. It's simply something that doesn't really concern us. That said I am led to believe that most people attending are likely to be gay men but not exclusively so.

I think that's a really salient point, there will be some straight guys there too and it's important everyone feels welcome and comfortable. In terms of clothing, I expect everything from business suits to jockstraps/fetishwear will be represented... Most of all, aside from the gameshow setup, this is a great chance for male wammers to meet up and get to know each other in real life, especially those of us who live in disparate parts of the country (outside of London and the southeast) and haven't been involved with Slosh before. While a lot of regular wammers and Slosh members will be there, there'll also be quite a few guys who won't have been to this kind of event before, won't have got messy with others before (especially in public) or are "gunge virgins", so it's important that people feel at ease. (I was well nervous the first time I met someone for wam 6 years ago.) I'll be attending with a friend and fellow UMD member, so if anyone is coming by themselves and wants to join us for dinner before the event as an icebreaker then message me. Don't know how long the event will last, but it'd be cool to go out for a drink with people after too, or meet up the next day for those who are in Birmingham over the weekend.

That's reassuring thank you both for answering. Do you have other meet ups in Birmingham as well?
So I'm guessing shorts and tshirt for something like this then?

I'll be wearing a lycra bodysuit so I guess I'll be on display if I'm up on stage.
There are now just 2 tickets remaining. 3 are currently awaiting payment but will be released back for availability after 7 days. We're going to speak to the venue to see if capacity can be increased at all.

Mate do it. Wam Pride! And it's not like you'd be the only nervous person or newbie there. Wam is such an innocent and silly fetish too, it's not like you going to an evening of hardcore S&M or whatever (which because of its mainstreamness these days, no-one would probably bat an eyelid at!)
So so gutted to be missing out on this. Trains got me screwed. Annoying cos I'm actually free Saturday - just need to be back in south yorkshire for a very early start sunday. Damnit
