Sound on. I love listening to all those squelchy, squishy sounds. I especially enjoy listening to people submerging themselves in the mud and blowing bubbles.

Damn. That is a much better question. I should have asked that instead. And I'll answer it: I use Avidemux free video editor (well, was free in 2015 when I downloaded it) to take out my favorite clips of wam videos I have purchased and just play those clips, delete them, then at a later time, when I want to watch a wam video again, I clip out a different section of the original, and watch that, delete, repeat.
One of my recent purchases was surprisingly disappointing, in 90 minutes or more material: the darned producer kept getting in the way of 99% of it! I couldn't find a solid 1 minute clip of just the model!

I used to edit my videos down. I had some sort of program ages ago that I bought at Best Buy for video editing. That's long gone, then I started using the video editor that comes with Windows, and I'd find that even when I edited huge chunks of a video out, the output would come out being an even bigger size than the full file I'd started with, so I pretty much just gave up on that and fast forward.
And to answer the original question of this post, typically sound off. Mostly because I live in a condo that is not really private when it comes to neighbors...got one below me, one right next to me. I could turn the volume down to a lower level, or put headphones on, but I'm usually just like "screw it" and do sound off. I guess it doesn't really matter, my cat probably makes more noise than my speakers ever could. I find that most videos don't really have much in terms of sound that I'd want to hear anyway, a couple of them do though, and those are the ones I'll make the effort with to have some level of sound going.
..how many of you actually watch a wam video all the way thru, as opposed to those of you who just skip to your favorite part of the video only. We don't have watchtime stats here, but on Youtube they have great analytics that show the majority of people do not watch an entire video and will skip or abort when a video does not hold their interest. If those watchtime stats are true we are better off making 5 miinute videos that really hold your attention, because after 5 minutes most folks will skip or abort anyway.
100% skip to whatever parts I'm interested in. I have zero attention span, so I'll just skim through a video, look for interesting parts, and go directly there. If said part seems like it needs some setup, I'll backtrack to find it, but otherwise, I usually won't bother.
..how many of you actually watch a wam video all the way thru,
Two good questions.
It's sound on here, WAM is one of those rare things that teases all of the senses. I guess I'm a people person, as the reactions are more than visual. Indeed, some scenes give the impression the model's taken a vow of silence and i tend to skip them... I agree on the producer talking side, if you would like a model to do certain things, ask her beforehand! Plan a contingency mess if they don't look up as expected...
On the skipping front, I don't always watch the post-mess wash off, although it's not unknown for some extras to be tagged on at the end! When a gunging is determined by a game, skipping the game removes the fun, the interaction, the emotion.
Trouble with this community is there's thousands of us... and we all have slightly different desires...

-unless you get to the end and there's still no sign of the 'money shot'.

I would often have music playing separately though.
I do like to have sound on if it's a good quality scene.
I'm in the same situation with the paper thin walls. I already know what the man next door's porn preferences are, I'd rather he didn't learn mine!

Certain movie production jobs are not pointless to the union member who gets paid a lot of money to do seemingly pointless boondoggle jobs. The unions often require pointless jobs as a way to compensate their members. For example, I almost fell off my chair laughing at many of the Chuck Norris movies where the ending credits list "Mr Norris' hair stylist"....when his hair basically all unkempt wet and muddy in his Missing in Action movies. I would like to apply for a Job as "Mr Norris' hair stylist" and get paid for doing nothing. It makes me laugh when you have Zombie movies and tv shows where they list somebody in the credits as getting paid for being in charge of the Wardrobe department too. Can I get a job like that and get paid, because all that you need to do is give the cast the address of the nearest thrift store and give them $20 and tell them to pick out some clothes and a pair of scissors, and your cast is all set to go.
As a former producer who has spent many minutes carelessly selecting the finest muzak to accompany his videos, I am offended by anyone who chooses to turn the sound off.
