I'll cut a long story short, but basically I have a session tomorrow and the gunge I ordered isn't going to arrive in time. Anyone know the best way of making 'home-made' gunge/slime?! If there's another thread explaining it, please also link that. I did have a look but couldn't find one!
As for home made - lots of options and it depends which effect you want (slime can mean different things to different wammers!)
Slube you can also get on amazon and in some high street stores
If you literally wanted slime - the smooth glossy stuff, like natrasol or hec gunge the closest and easiest to it if you're going shopping for ingredients is custard/pudding cartons or tins and add food colouring to make it whatever 'slime' colour you want (but then read my article about getting rid of dairy smell if you do that)
Supermarkets sometimes sell xanthan gum too in the 'free from' section and you can colour it with kids poster paint. Requires a lot of mixing though. (slube and custard don't)
You could use shaving foam - if you just stir loads in a bucket it becomes less fluffy and more slimy
or porridge oats - there's a guide to bulk porridge too on spotless sploshing. Also cake batter, and ditto an article about floury things on there too!
