I've always bought Natrosol Powder in bulk but it's fast increasing in price. There are two other types of gunge powder available from Messy Supplies which are cheaper. They are:
5KG RAW Hydroxyethyl Cellulose Powder 5KG RAW Methylcellulose Powder
Can anyone tell me how Hydroxyethyl Cellulose and Methylcellulose Powder compare to Natrasol?

Very easy to mix and cost effective. Methylcellulose is a nightmare to mix and you need a powered mixer of some kind too.
The Hydroxy Ethyl Cellulose we sold was easier to mix than Natrosol and was also more opaque so the colours looked brighter. Don't get het up on having to use Natrosol, its just a trade name for their brand of Hydroxy Ethyl Cellulose. Some of the other brands are a lot cheaper as well.
