Do you like it when people get rinsed off with water in WAM videos? I don't, wetlook does nothing for me, and I prefer seeing the mess accumulate on a model rather than starting over from scratch.
So that was a tough question.... If you're havin' a 'fun-session', the more messed-up you get the better..... But when the 'fun' is over, you can't just leave your gear, or whatever you were wearin', (or not wearin'......l.o.l.), all messed up, you havta' clean it up.......
We always have our people hose themselves down at the end of a scene but we release that as a second separate video in a scene, so buyers will know that the main messy video is all mess, no water.
I have seen mud scenes where the models get hosed off, still fully clothed, and then go back into the mud for a second mudding, which can work reasonably well.
I guess the important thing would be if someone is going to get messy, then wet, then messy again, that needs to be made clear in description and previews. From my own POV it wouldn't put me off buying a scene, and could add to it, though it's not something I'd seek out.
I love a good soaking as an appetizer before the rest of the mess. After that, I agree it feels counterproductive to rinse the girl off midway through. But since I like a good watering, and I think big water dumps are underrated, I answered Yes.
I said yes, but my caveat is as long as it is at the end. Once all the mess has been used and they play around in it for a while I like seeing the wash off after, but not before then.

exactly that, the wash off first dilutes the messy stuff and that slowly reveals details that were previously hidden by thicker mess like squelchy toe cleavage in court shoes etc
Here and there, it's fine, but on the whole, I like to see an escalating mess. The scene ends with the model at their messiest point. That's the climax. ie how the fuck did they get that lot off? etc. A bit of aftermath, maybe. Beyond this I have zero interest in seeing washing off in a video - I prefer the mystique.
water can have it's place some of the slapstickstuff vids are a good example with a bucket of water used to partially clean up. Some times it has the added benefit of washing thick mess it cleavage and inside clothes
Water in the middle of a full on messy shoot is a buzz kill. Though we have used water in our 90's slime shoots, but that was because it paid homage to those type of slime scenes back then.
No I don't like water. Especially when the model(s) gets doused in water before the mess. It completely ruins the intense moment the mess hits their clean body.
I personally don't but I'm not a fan of wet clothes on me. I can't even stand getting too wet in the rain, and if anyone dared throw me into a pool fully clothed, I'd be very annoyed
I personally do. To me it gets kind of boring when a model just turns into a big blob. Throwing on a bucket of H20 doesn't totally clean them off, but now they still look like a mess so it seems like it's time to start getting clean but no, more mess. I like that a lot.
Some messes are very thick and lovely to see. However, they sometimes wind up hiding the model too much and so a bucket of thrown water goes a long way in accomplishing a few things. 1. You can see the model once more, still covered in dripping, wet mess. 2. The mess is shinier as is the model's skin and clothing. This helps the viewer to imagine that the surface they are looking at is actually slippery and not just covered in some dryish-thick mess. 3. If it is a thick mud puddle, a pool of muddy water nearby becomes a fun place to splash around before getting back into the thicker stuff. 4. The surprise effect can be awesome, for example I saw a clip of two young ladies stepping into what looked like a pond of water, but the water was just a thin layer resting on thick, black mud. They sank down quickly with a wet splatter, into the black ooze below, and they looked VERY surprised, thinking they were simply jumping into water, but were soon covered in the muck from head to toe.

I agree...i think water before the mess just adds to it, nothing wrong with a rinsing during the mess then more mess and a good soaking afterwards...to me that's what wam is all about..."WET AND MESSY"
I've been thinking about this and realised, we've kind of done a mud -> water -> mud -> water scene, almost by accident, because it just happened naturally.
The last day of Mud Season in the UK this year was the 6th of September, and we were out on the Marsh House mudbanks with the ever-enthusiastic Isabeau. The tide was going down all the time we were there so by the final shoot of the day the river was way, way down, and Isabeau, wearing one of our zip-spandex full body swimsuits wanted to do some serious mud-sliding. As a result she got covered in mud, slid into the river, lost some of the mud, came back up and got covered again, slid back in - this went on for quite a while as she loves both mud and water and was having an awesome time enjoying both.
So ultimately I've voted Yes in the poll. In don't think we're going to start throwng buckets of water over our girls mid-scene in the dungeon, but in some cases yes, water as part of a messy scene can enhance things.
Yes, I like both, but primarily WAM (Translated by Google)

I voted No, but I'm not completely opposed to using water in wam. Like I'm fine if it's a little bit of water that only slightly cleans up the person or if the mess is so thick that adding more water just makes the mess a little runnier or sloppier, but I absolutely hate using a full bucket of water that almost completely cleans the person off that's way too much.
