Don't do it!
Onlyfans takes 0 responsibility for the delivery of a custom. It's basically no different than just paying a stranger over Cashapp. That's why it's just a "tip" and not actually any sort of order.
When your custom isn't delivered, your only recourse is a chargeback with your credit card, at which point Onlyfans will send you threatening messages and suspend your account. And I say "when" rather than "if" because many girls on OF are just starting out thinking sex work is easy. They have no idea how involved a WAM shoot is. Once they realize what it involves, they'll cut and run.
Stick to reputable sites instead. I only order customs through Manyvids unless I'm 100% certain I can trust the girl (or I've already come to terms with losing the money). Lately I've had some success asking girls to sign up for MV accounts and then ordering on there, but it helps that in my case I have a decent sized body of work to show off so that they know I'm going to go through with the custom video order if they do in fact sign up.
Yes, I've ordered several from a few different models and everything has worked out fine. But I've also had a couple ones agree to it, but then back out of it later on. (I hadn't paid them yet but it was still disappointing).

The good think about ELM is girls who have done projects have reviews. The other good thing is money is held in escrow until they deliver the video so it's tough to get burned.

I've actually had pretty good luck using OF for customs, it does really come down to who you go with though. Definitely start a conversation and see if things feel like they'll come together. I have had one person take funds and not commit (luckily it was only 50 bucks). If anything agree to doing a down payment prior, that's worked well for me at least. I actually have one person who's made multiple pie videos for me and each time they improve on the quality.
I've only ever gotten one but it's now one of my absolute favorite videos. The girl who did it for me is sadly out of the OF game, otherwise I would gladly send you her way, but she rolled with my very basic requests and really came through. She just seemed to naturally get the assignment which (based on my conversations about bad OF customs) seems to be the intangible key to whether they'll work out or not.
