I saw three men in the background with pie on them. Add the two you mentioned and that makes five.
I'm anticipating another sub-par episode because last week was the opportunity for a total rout and the men chose to be wusses.
Hopefully there'll be a pleasant surprise or two.
Maybe the producers will allow the men to win the game forcing them to pie-bomb Karla, Julia or who(m)ever the women's leader is?
Despite being a big fan (and defender) of CM, I must admit I have got bored with it.
The pies just aren't very good any more. The guys have always had it way worse than the girls, that's been clear from the start. But what little hits there were for the girls, they were usually of very good quality because of the pies.
Now, however, they seem to be drier and much smaller. Even when the guys get 'destroyed', there's not the same level of coverage these days. Sadly, this isn't something I can see changing.
Which is what I mentioned. Don't put it all on the guys... With the new shitty formula, you have to use some real muscle to pie someone well.
It's the main reason I don't care about most pie-centric shows... There's still some from Latin America but almost all use terrible pies with bad coverage. (Combate is the worst. Shaving cream on a plate!) And don't get me started with the Brits...

I'm from the UK and I genuinely can't remember the last time I saw someone on TV take a pie in the face.
Go to TellyGunge sometimes. They rave every single time some middle-aged woman on British TV gets "pied" with shaving cream on a paper plate. It's like they actually ENJOY their terrible, terrible pies....
A few days ago I wrote that I expected this episode to be sub-par because there's no evidence that any of the men are anything but wusses.
Unfortunately my analysis was right on the mark. However, I grossly underestimated how sub-par (awful) this episode would be.
One of the men literally appeared to be powdering the girl's nose with his pie. It was the goddamn weirdest pie-ing I've seen.
Stephen F'ing Hawking could/would throw a pie with more strength and enthusiasm than these misfits.
Only two men threw their pies with force. "Steroid Guy" (short muscled dude with crew cut) and Ruda ("Token"). And Ruda threw his pie at one of his teammates.
Meanwhile, the majority of the women wrapped their pies around the men's head so many times I was dizzy watching. And when given the opportunity for revenge the men simply weren't interested.
Combined with the fact that the pies (at least early in the game) were as hard as cement the episode was truly awful.
There were more than enough opportunities for the men to make this a decent episode. They chose to be "gentlemen" instead.
Oh yeah, the men finally won and the cameraman only gave us a few seconds of Karla's mess (which was relatively minor).
One final note. Our beloved Barbara took part in the first segment of the program. I don't know what you call this segment. It's like a talk show where everyone stands around weirdly. I was hoping Barbara would participate in the games. Didn't happen. I guess she's too successful to potentially take pies anymore.
